Crocodile Dundee?s Boomerang Bay!
Yeah, well I'll still be calling it WW, and the stores will always be known as Trader Jake's Supplies and On Shore. I'm Really Indifferent when it comes to the water park's name, CDBBWR though stresses two important things about the water park though, the fact that it is a resort, and the fact that PKI is striving to be a movie theme park.

Roll Call: PKI Opening Day
You never know, I could be lucky enough to be at the park all night, got to make sure stores are ready to open and since I'll have school all week I feel obliged to volunteer to do an overnight shift, should it be needed.

Who Would you Like to see in concert at the park?
I would have liked to see Weird Al, but no I had to work in my store. The Darkness would be cool, and it would be even cooler if I could work the souvenir stand.

Which Coaster has the best color scheme?
I picked Vortex, but if we could go back in time to 2001 then I would pick King Cobra, got to love the alternating green and yellow.

Tower Johnny?
I have to say, I really do not like being the only person in an entire area late at night, you hear things and it becomes somewhat... creepy. Walking near the Eiffel Tower way after park close with a howling wind, now that is kinda creepy.

Gold Pass Perks Released
I remember that BAFFD, I was supposed to be a late, but when 71 became backed up a mile before Western Row I decided to forgo lunch and get in to help my boss, who happened to be the only person managing at the time, and I can tell you she was having so much fun out there by herself. Some of my most vivid images are from those days, it was so crowded that people were the entire staircase and then some was filled with people waiting to ride the speed slides. Some things will never leave your mind... there was many, many more than 9,000 people in WW, I could barely make from one store to another it was so packed. If there will really be 65,000 people in the Park on May 9th, I will be surprised. May 9th is many days earlier than June 30th, so I anticipate there probably won't be as many people there. But then if there is, I'll be probably doing Merch LP work, which means behind the scenes work for me.

Gold Pass Perks Released
Wow, an entire weekend in BB to themselves (and probably those who win tickets). Let's hope it isn't cold on the opening weekends like it almost always is (Both years I was out there on opening day it was really really cold, don't know about last year though). Nice perks though, I especially like the bring a friend free day and early entrance to BB ones .

Roll Call: PKI Opening Day
Information on the campgrounds can be found here: Campground Information. Campground prices start at $19.99, and to make reservations you can call (513)754-5901, or 1-800-882-1133. And yeah I'll be there opening day, in Rock Shop, helping out with things. I'll also be there on the 10th and 11th, and the 3rd and 4th.

Instant Messanger
Those who would actually want to IM me mine is DropThisFar116... comes from an arbitrary number and a sign on the Eiffel Tower that said "Drop This Far in '99." Needless to say, I dropped that far many many times in '99.

PKI Speils
God I wish certain speils verbatim but the only one I remember verbatim is "Fearfest is now closed. Get Out!" That spiel is back from 2001 I think. There are other ones that I think I know... "Attention WaterWorks guests, at this time the water activity area is still closed. We are currently monitoring a storm that is currently moving through the area..." It goes on but I can't remember the rest. There's Also.... "May I have your attention please, Waterworks is now closed. If you have entered through the season pass gate please be advised that this gate will be closing shortly. As a reminder all lockers must be cleared by this time. For your enjoyment the remainder of rides and attractions will remain open until (park close time) tonight. Thank you."

Roughest riding coaster at PKI?
Forwards Racer gets my vote, all I can say about that ride is ouch. Funny, since I love recaR.

2003
I didn't really ride much, I rode Delirium about 8 times, and Scooby Doo about 6 times. Everything else I'd be lucky if I rode even once, kinda was really busy with the job.

How excited are YOU for BB?
I'll be there opening day rain or shine, bright and early at probably 9:30 on May 22. Granted I'll be working, but I'll be there all day . I'll be there quite some time before then too, got some training and store setups to do. Oh what fun time lies ahead. As for when I go to enjoy the park, well that will happen when school and work grants me a day off, and when it is warm.

Wonderpark
Nah, 7:45a.m. to 3a.m. is all day, almost literally. Got to love spiritsong weekend. And yes, breaks can get really really complicated, try juggling 20 people between two shifts where half of them are doubles and you need fifteen some people to operate the location as directed. Got to love BAFFD.

Could a new name be added to the Water Park?
Yeah, it'd be nice to know those names for our stores for sure, but I am also pretty sure they are the same.
-
Where in the park do you want to have sex?
I'll have to remember if I ever see you renting a cabana from me to laugh hysterically. Me personally, I think that sex on the street would be pretty romantic, so in that sense I'll go with the Eiffel Tower one.

Season Pass Private Parties
A lot of departments (including mine) had managerial functions this weekend. I got to eat in Mandarin today , and then bark like a dog (long story I currently am not obliged to tell). I have to say though that I hope guests appreciate opening day even more though, as a lot of work will be going in to it behind the scenes.

New Rides
Umm... they kind of do let the guests have a say in what new attractions will be built, did you ever notice the wonderful Guest Relations people out there conducting the surveys where your cheesy photo (We love Keyhole) is taken, or the existence of ThrillResearch.com? I know I did every morning walking to and from Spotlight and Gateway. The guest should have some say in what the park should build, but it should not be solely based on what the guests want, but what is the best for the park.

New Characters For 2004?
Was Rocko the greatest show ever on Nick? In my view yes. Would Rocko's Modern Life Characters bring out a lot of nostalgia for the teenage guests? Oh yeah it would, I personally think that'd be sweet. Is Rocko's Modern Life currently popular with the youngsters of the current day? No, can't say that it is, how often does one actually see Rocko on Nick? Not very often. Because of the fact that Rocko is a tad bit out of the limelight I would say that we will proably never see a Rocko character at PKI, regardless of how cool that show was.

LaRosa's
Mmm... Oscar's food, slightly more delectable than liver and onions. Thank God for free ice water and vending machines.

LaRosa's
LaRosa's Restaurants are strictly a Cincinnati Thing. Granted, there is one in Batesville, IN, but most of them are in Cincinnati. It's one of the perks of living in the region, as LaRosa's is the best. (what can I say, I am a West Sider, we're supposed to love LaRosa's) As so many people have said, why change something that isn't broken? LaRosa's is good, and it makes the park oodles of cash. Sounds like a win-win scenario for everyone, doesn't it?

What's so great about Kings Island?
I went with employees, without us, a whole lot of nothing would get done at the park, and the guests wouldn't have anyone from the park to complain to.
-
Past Roller Coasters
For some reason I think this poll will be heavily favored towards King Cobra, but I just can't put my finger on why. But, I voted for King Cobra, as it was the only defunct coaster that existed during my time.

Top Ten FoF Pet Peeves
You know, if you go into the right store, you may just be able to find a disturbingly old shirt. Granted after several years shirts that don't sell are given to charity, but there are those few that fall into the cracks. Best bet to find really old shirts would be in Spotlight, Emporium, or Fudge n' Fun. You'd have to ask someone if they had them in the back, as the rounders of old and exciting stuff normally does not come out until late full season, when we need to move the stuff. You can buy some really interesting stuff from the stores, did you know that you can buy a genuine flag pole from Fudge n' Fun, provided we didn't get rid of them this off season? My location actually bought two (Had to support the store flag, go 550!). Good luck finding old rare shirts, but there might be some hidden jewels in some of these stores.

What Old PKI Ride Do You Miss?
I voted for King Cobra because the overall experience on the ride was awesome (got to love the bunny hops at the end). But, I do have to add that I really miss KCKC as well, as it was fun and rarely had a long line.
