  1. Yeah, that'd be a real crappy uniform. Well, we'll see if any of those pan out. The end of areas makes little to no sense though.
  2. Yes, it's very sad. Especially with so many great flats lost, I really wish PKI would take a year off from building huge attractions and you know, like add something for the kids then a couple classic flats around Coney. Latest word I'm hearing on Tiques is though they probably won't be back by 2005, they will more than likely return under a new theme in 2006. Also, it appears as though the Eagles may be on the chopping block, though due to their popularity it appears as though they will just be moved. One other thing, do keep in mind most of the rides removed had maintenance issues, and were not worth keeping anyways. Still, it is sad, but there replacements do kick a$$!
  3. In the invite it said the hottest new hollywood attraction for 2005, so I doubt it's for 2006. And even if PKI is using the mummy ride system, that doesn't mean they're using the animatronics or that level of theming, a car ride through subways and stuff is cheaper to do than a whole tomb. The big cost for the mummy rides was they're highly detailed theming, loads of animatronics, and insane special effects. It really comes down to the theme, a car ride through subways and stuff is easier to do than a tomb loaded with cutting edge effects.
  4. Wow, PKI Punk, that's alot of parks! Yeah, great TR, very well written and fun to read. Glad to hear you had fun.

Glad you had fun. When you come back down, try to hit Tomb Raider, really great ride, though many think it's not. Scooby's pretty good too.
  6. Actually Tomb Raider's anouncement came with pictures, descriptions of the experience, and claimed that it would be the world's greatest adventure ride. I think the 2005 anouncement will be fairly comprehensive, with a description of the ride, maybe it's ride system and manufacturer, and a few nifty pictures as well.
  7. Ok, I've got it. As a bonus mini game for when you beat both characters games, you get to play a spoof on the Harold & Kumar go to White Castle movie. 2 PKIU staffers will replace Harold & Kumar. Any takers?
  8. Well, that can be arranged. PM me if you're a staff member and wish to be featured. There's another game, whenever it will come, and we're going to have a raffle for PKIU forum members to see who gets to be in it, so you can look forward to that as well.
  9. Ok, here's the deal. I'm getting ready to start the last leg of production on PKIU's latest game, Jeffrey Siebert: RELOADED, and frankly, I'm a little short on ideas for the remaining parts of Jeff's side of the game. So I would like to know what you guys would like to see in RELOADED. Gameplay, characters, anything. Please help me finish this game!
  10. I wouldn't mind another Huss flat, if it was themed really well. I'm still hoping for some kind of coaster, but I'm sure whatever we get will be great.

    Best Park

Actually, I heard awhile back that PKI was looking into creating a full service sit down restaraunt, so maybe we'll see that happen sometime soon.
  12. I'm not sure one weighs more than the other, but each arm is individually controlled, and if they aren't lined up just right the ride will be forced to stop, which I believe is what causes most of the breakdowns. You do have to remember, thought, TR is a very technologically advanced ride, and until better computer systems become available problems will occur. Rides like this are going to have problems, look at the Indiana Jones Adventure in Disneyland. I was there a week ago, and despite it being nearly 10 years old, it didn't open with the park, and broke down several times that day. Also, much like TR, it has lost effects over the years, and that's a Disney ride, so people(myself included) should not rip on PKI for effects being gone, as it happens to the biggest parks in the industry as well.
  13. 45 minutes-1 hour from Lawerenceburg, Indiana. I live across the street from Mr. Keith.
  14. Thanks for the shameless plug! Actually, I believe due to development problems, the Jeff platformer was canned, plus a script was never really there for it. Went bankrupt, . Actually, back in the day when the Jeff games were going to be a trilogy, RELOADED was J3: Jeff's Final Adventure, but after a massive story revision, and the realization it would be the second game in the series, not the third, it became RELOADED. But yeah, the Jeff Siebert Fan Page really inspired these games, and I'm glad to make them. I really hope to start marketing RELOADED in the near future, because, believe me, it's incredible. Mr. Keith has gotten to see the game progress from script to reality, and has been a leading test player for the game in it's last few months of development, so he can vouch for me that the game really is incredible, and possibly the most innovative RPG Maker game out there(yes, I'm still using RPG Maker). As Mr. Keith said, expect to see Jeffrey Siebert: RELOADED on your "compooters" this fall.
  15. What I meant by that was that PKI picked the Giant Top Spin because it could be the vehicle they needed to take riders from scene to scene with thrilling flips and such, not that the Giant Top Spin was made specifically to be a dark ride vehicle.
  16. Thanks for clarifying that SOB TOM. I thought that the majority of TRTR's soundtrack was just like 8 second orchestral clips, that looped or something, but after thinking about it while riding, I now know how wrong I was. Actually, the ride has a pretty cool soundtrack.
  17. Also, I just noticed that where it shows what member status you are, mine says "I will get that game done someday". Who did that? Honestly?
  18. Beastbuzz was pretty cool. The tours were great, and the scavenger hunt was awesome! I didn't get to stick around for much of the ERT though, but it was probably awesome as well. On a sidenote, supposedly when asked about tiques removal, Jeff started commenting on all the rumors he had read, and he said one of his favorites was that tiques was being relocated behind TRTR. Someone on these boards might find that interesting, lol, j/k. Oh, and SOB TOM, the rumor about Tiques removal was originally started by Shaggy on another site, then very very very quickly escalated on this site. It's escalated so much so, that it's been accepted by many to be fact. Gotta love Shaggy.
  19. Well in that late 80's this happend every year. KI took all of the good flat rides out and did not replace them. Yeah, alot of really good rides were removed then, but most if not all of the removals had good reasons behind them. Still, I'd love to see PKI take a year off from major attractions construction and build back up Coney's lineup of classic flats, and add a new water slide to BB the same year to balance the addition of old attractions. I wouldn't like that year to be 2005 though, as I do think we need a new coaster.
  20. I think TR is intense enough, it's just that the Giant Top Spin was meant to be a vehicle to take riders to each scene, and now each scene has lost so many effects that the ride has lost much of its original thrill. But TR can, and probably will, be reprogrammed, it's just a matter of when. I think it'll be a while, which is fine, since the ride is excellent as it is right now. The music tracks for the ride generally are just short tracks that are looping, so all you would need to do(I think)is extend the timing on them based on however the ride would be reprogrammed, or add new tracks for new scenes. It's possible, but I doubt it'll happen for awhile.
  21. Personally, I'd love to see PKI build another dark ride, maybe something like Spider-Man(hey, I can dream)or Indiana Jones at Disneyland(my favorite ride of all time). As for if Tiques' space is big enough for a coaster, well, yes, it is. If they wanted a hyper there, I guess if they went with Intamin and used something like Millenium Force's lift system they probably could, or just take the lift hill over the path and to the right of the pond back there. It's possible. What else could we get besides a coaster? That'll be a good question for 2006.
  22. According to recent rumors of ride relocations and/or removals, the next coaster will most likely be located where the Antique Cars currently are. Other possible spaces for a new coaster would be pretty much anywhere on the other side of The Racer.
  23. Contrary to popular opinion, PKI doesn't remove rides every year, infact, they rarely do, and when it happens, there's generally a very good reason behind it. Since most, if not all, attractions are operating well and are fairly popular, it's unlikely PKI will remove anything anytime soon. You may see some ride relocations next year though, or possibly a removal, but I think it's unlikely. Then again, I really know nothing about next year, so I really can't say.
  24. Do you mean RELOADED? It'd take a while to explain that one, pretty big, and besides, I'd rather everyone just play the game and experience it for themselves.
  25. It's not a story, it's a plot. I'm not sure which direction I'll go with it yet either. Right now it's just speculation since I'm in the middle of RELOADED.
