  1. I am sure that Cedar Fair will use all the resources possible to succesfully remove Paramount from the park for the 2008 season. If they were willing to sell off all the old Paramount clothing for pocket change like they did at the end of the 2007 season, I am sure they will do what it takes to remove the rest. I think it would be tacky as a business to leave any remnants of Paramount laying around the park. It would almost show a sign of laziness on Cedar Fairs part.
  2. I would have to say that I agree with Gordon on this one.
  3. Yeah , if I had a choice between Timberwolf and a new ride I would have to say new ride. I have been going to Kings Island ever scince I was a kid and I have never been to an event at Timberwolf.
  4. Yeah I know what you are saying there. No matter where you end up working in life it is never going to be perfect. Just because Kings Island is a fun place to go to ride rides doesnt mean it is always going to be a fun place to work. If you work there, it is like any other place of employment, it is what it is ( work ).
  5. Yeah I think Coney would be a great place for it . Im not really a big fan of Coney myself but I do know alot of people that go there in the summer. This would be a great main attraction for them to draw in more people. I might even go to ride it a few times myself if it were there just for a change of pace. My back yard would always be nice also.
  6. Hey hey Chris it was a pleasure meeting you and Sara as well. I had a good time chatting with you two at the KIC day about all the different coasters in the different parks. Dinner was pretty darn good also lol. Look forward to seeing you both again next year!!!!!
  7. I definately got my gold pass worth this year. Scince they opened the Son of Beast back up I guess it really did motivate me even more to go to the park every chance I could.
  8. Well I am only 20 minutes from the park , so that does help a little. I do work a full time job as well. Maybe I should just get a part time job there in the summer being that I am there so much.
  9. Well hello everyone, I just want to say that I have enjoyed another wonderfull year at Kings Island. From opening day of Firehawk , all the way to the last ride I had on The Beast that final wednesday of Halloween Haunt. I know this is crazy but I attended the park 70 times this year, thats right 70. I guess you could say I practically lived there. I either need to get a life or just realize that I am a coaster junkie. Id much prefer the later of the 2 lol. I had an awesome time at KIC day and meeting some great people, and sharing some great storys about the park. Well now that the season is over I am allready feeling a little in the dumps. I guess it doesnt take long to start missing that climb to the top of your favorite coaster hill with the sun in your eyes and that rush of adrenaline you get when you are hitting top speed around those turns. It always seems to make a bad day a good one. I guess what will keep me going is looking forward to next seasons surprises and chatting here on the site. Thank you Kings Island Central and Kings Island for making 2007 another enjoyable time in my life.
  10. Well hats off to everyone involved in one of the most amazing Kings Island experiences I have ever had. I think the whole event was very well organized. I met alot of nice people and I hope I will get to see you at the park again in the future. So to Ryan, Dane, Josh and Don, two thumbs up and a clear.
  11. Yeah I know it does sound like alot , I guess I need to get a life or a job there lol lol lol. But the way I see it is there is something I really love about the park, a home away from home in the summer. Its a great stress reliever from the every day routine. I really only ride the coasters when I am there , like I said I am a coaster nut, lol lol
  12. Well now that you mention it, being that they are similiar rides. I wonder if they will shut down the monster for inspection.
  13. http://www.nbc4.com/news/13817338/detail.html Im glad she is ok!!!!!
  14. Just wanted to say hey to everyone and I will see you all tomorrow. I think it is going to be a good time. Tomorrow will also be my 48th visit to the park this year, I guess im hooked to the coasters lol.
  15. It was a good night , even the ride operators were getting the crowd all fired up. I think they were actually having fun for once lol. They got the wave going and then got everyone cheering when the cars would come back from a run.
  16. I was there after work tonight , and both trains were running. I rode it three times and also got in one of the last rides of the night. I love riding it at night scince it is so dark after the first hill.
  17. Well I also have to agree it was an awesome day at the park. The speed passes were also an added plus. Glad to see you had a good time. Ill catch you at the KIC event.
  18. well considering i rode it three times and i am still walking pretty good i wouldnt say it is unbearable lol. i think it just has that awesome wood feel to it but a few spots really get you good lol. i rode in the first car every time and the gates lined up perfect.
  19. The new trains are pretty nice, they are alot more roomy than the old ones. They have alot more leg room. As far as the smoothness there were a few places where I felt like the bumps went right to my spine lol. I think I only waited for about 20 minutes each time i rode it.
  20. Hey hey I rode it today and it was awesome. I didnt realize how bad i missed it until I went up the lift hill for the first time today in a long time. I have to say that it was a rush. I felt like a kid at christmas again lol. I can tell that they have really tried to smooth it out, but it still has its rough spots. It is fast and furiouse (awesome) a nice 4th of july present from the park thats for sure!!!!!!!!!! I rode it three times today.
  21. lol i know what you mean , i waited three hours sunday and got sun burnt as hell also lol
  22. In regards to my last post I do have to say that Firehawk is my new favorite ride at the park and cant wait to ride it again. I didnt mind the wait either. I kind of felt like i was being made a part of history as one of the first Firehawk riders at Kings Island. It will be something cool to tell my nephew about when he is old enough to enjoy the park. That his uncle was one of the first riders.
  23. Well hey hey everyone , I got there first thing in the morning sunday and it took three hours to ride it. What was weird to me is that you had to wait till 6 o clock in the evening to pick up the shirt for being on of the first riders. Why not just hand it to you at the end of the ride.
  24. I could really care less about Top Gun myself. I think the space could be used for a much more appealing ride. The whole area back there looks like a junk pile including the ride itself. Sorry but its just my opinion.
  25. lol , thats what I thought he he he
