I miss the sounds of the games when walking through Coney Mall, it seems kinda dead through there now. Does anyone else know what I"m talkin about?

How do you ride Magnum without getting bruised thighs from the lap bars? I've tried putting my hands between my legs and the bar, that didnt work. I've tried making sure i have lots of room between the bar and my legs and im not stapled in, that has not worked either. It's very painful riding Maverick the next morning during ERT with bruised thighs from Magnums lap bars.

Are you a goth? Why would you wear full black anywhere? Except for funerals. I don't understand people walking around in black clothing when its 90+ out, plus wearing black jeans instead of shorts. I just don't get it.

I don't think we are too far from Indiana beach living here in Indy, i've never been there though and don't really care to. I'd much rather spend my time at KI. I would like to make it it to HW this year though to check out splashin safari. I heard it's really good.

Wear a sleeveless tshirt and white basketball shorts and you should be fine. Also carry around a water bottle so you can drink it when in line. 86 is nothing really, I was driving through 106 degrees on the way back from Texas a few weeks ago. Now temps in the 80s feel almost cold to me.

I agree with row 6 on the first drop. on july 3rd i was In that seat twice, and the first drop actually kind of scared me lol

I seem to never get head banged on Vortex. My shoulders fit perfectly in the harness and it holds me firmly in place. Also I like the First and the Last seat.

KI needs something equivelant to Maverick.

I almost waited for the last DB train of the night, but instead opted for the last Beast train. Glad I did, I saw those fireworks while riding The Beast. It was pretty sweet.

When you guys say you dont like being soaked, do you mean in just your normal clothing? I can understand that as I dont like walking around the park in soaking wet clothes. However I don't mind at all getting wet if I'm in my board shorts and am actually spending the day at the water park.

Is parking really that far away that you need a tram at HW? I can see the need for one at Disney, but parks like KI, Hershey, CP there really is no need for one. Get out and walk, its good for you! Also why do some of you not like water parks? Water slides are just as much fun as roller coasters to me.

Sorry you didnt have fun, I've never had a bad trip there. I grew up in South Bend and used to go there a lot when I was younger.

Sweet, glad they redid the fiber glass on DUT. I haven't been on it in a couple of years because of the rivets that kept digging into my back in 07. Ouch that was painful!!! I went to BB early in the month and the water was freezing. Has it warmed up it all with this recent heat wave? Thinking of going there this Friday, if not I'll just drink beer at my pool

It was a fun day, we arrived around 11am and left around 7. The parking lot was less than half full when we arrived. I was suprised by how small the park was, I guess the one by San Antonio is bigger and better. Pretty much the entire park is one big lazy river, you take this around the park to get to pretty much ever water slide/water coaster. There is a section of the lazy river that is the rapids, I have some pictures of it on my facebook. They have about 6 slides that shoot you back up the hills. This was the first i'd been on one of these. I wasn't a big fan of these, except for one the tempest. It was on the back side of the park, so it always had a small line. I took a bunch of pictures of this slide. The kids area was pretty small, but the boogie board machine was much bigger than BB's. Over all I'd rank BB and Cedar Point's water park over this park in South Padre. It was pretty much just all the same stuff. It was missing some major attactions like a racing slide, wave pool, giant funnel, and enclosed slides. I'll try and add more later if I get a chance. This is my first try at a trip report, so I'm not sure how to transfer all my pics from facebook into this thread.

Im annoyed that the employees at the re-entry stamp keep telling me i cant get it on the inside of my wrist. Ive done this for years with no problems until this year. also why arent they almost clear like the ones at Cedar Point?

Is this place worth visiting? I tried to view it from the Eiffel Tower to try and get an idea of how it was, but I coudn't see it. Was I just missing it, or is the park really that small?

Delrium make me feel nautious, but only when the ride is ending, I don't know why that is. Also the last 2 bunny hills on DB makes me nautious as well, this annoys the crap out of me. I can't really do spinning rides either.

Anyone know a good assassin? lol

Thats a great movie, I have the DVD. I also enjoy Endless Summer 2!!
