I have sat in the seat next to the gate and that doesn't work either....I had some guy last season jump OVER me and sat next to me to ride The Beast. He scared me to death and he kept hitting on my arm while he was " dancing" in his seat and cussing and carrying on and trying to ask me out on a date the entire ride...just awful. When it comes to empty seats on coaster trains, I blame people who come in groups of 8 and 10 and they try to get EVERYONE on the same train, so they let a few go so they can be together. Now that's ANNOYING!

This just erks me to no end. I often come to Kings Island by myself and I have NEVER been forced to ride with someone(I haven't been to KI yet this year). That just makes for a very UNCOMFORTABLE ride. I have had someone ASK if they could ride with me, since they were by themselves as well. I didn't mind that since she asked and she was very nice. I understand on Banshee and Firehawk since they seat four across, in which I have rode with strangers. This is ridiculous!!

I think you'll be fine...They only ones you might have trouble with are Flight of Fear and Diamondback. Those are the two that are always borderline for me.

I wanna go sooooooooo bad

I agree with you 100% on this. When I ride by myself I feel like the parents' "creep alert" goes off in their head

Well I won't get a chance to experience Woodstock Gliders any time soon, but I did come across this tutorial of how to work your glider. Every time I rode one of these I couldn't get mine to go high and now I get it!! Can't wait to ride it this summer!

Love Runs Out- OneRepublic hands down.

A toss up between Banshee and The Beast! I voted Banshee but The Beast is just a great!
-
I'm a little late in the game but I took my first ride on Banshee this morning. Wow! What a great addition to the park! I can only ride row 4 and 5 but it's all good
-
no prob. Well you should definitely be fine then. Have a great time!!

I have 30 inch thighs as well and I haven't tried Banshee yet(can't make it to the park until August due to my busy schedule) but I can ride everything EXCEPT Diamondback. Diamondback is not thick thigh friendly(I think because of the clam shell design of the lapbar and angle of the seats.) Just try the test seat at the entrance. I'd rather be embarrassed there then waiting in line and doing the walk of shame in front of everyone.

I would really like it if they would put the park entrance webcam up. I feel like I can judge crowds better. I hope they spread the the cameras more throughout the park instead of just Action Zone.

Try Hilton Garden Inn or Holiday Inn Express. You may be able to find a deal at one of those places. If not, check on tripadvisor.com for options.

Does anyone know if Cirque Imagine will run all summer long or is this just for a limited time? I won't be able to make it to KI until August...UGH!!
-
I saw it this morning to my surprise. Great Segment!!
-
I thought I had heard that last year as well, not sure. Maybe they are playing it because it's quite popular in WWE right now, KI is just "following the buzzards". (if there is any wrestling fans on here they'll get it lol) I love the Wyatt family on WWE! They are certainly different!

I cross my ankles all the time when I ride The Racer and The Beast. It lowers my thighs, hence being able to get the lap bar down in the appropriate place.

I'm 5'7 and 255lbs and I can fit on everything except Diamondback(haven't been yet to try Banshee) The main concern is NOT about your actual weight but how it's distributed. I have a big booty and juicy thighs("I get it from my momma" -Juvenile...LOL) so Diamondback doesn't work for me. There are people who are 300lbs + that can ride because they have smaller legs so you really can't go by weight. I think you'll be fine. When in doubt try out the test seats if they have them. Anyways....Have fun!!!!

These seats don't look very "fluffy" friendly...I'm not that large of a person but I'm wondering if I'll even fit!!!!

LOVED PT! I believe I was 13 when it opened. I was scared of course but the older I got I thought "this is kinda cheesy." BB just ok. I just wonder if they are trying to keep the scary themes mild because of it being so close to the children's area. If it was up to me I'd say let's change the theme to get up with the times....TIME FOR SOME ZOMBIE SHOOTING!! Maybe a "Walking Dead" type of theme!
