  1. This thread reminds me of something. Oh what could it be? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmx4twCK3_I
  2. Or they can be.
  3. Summary: HTCO posted shortly before midnight last night that there was something interesting to see, and the thread exploded. He refused to say what. Around the same time, the Save SOB Facebook page reported green coaster supports in the construction area, but there were no photos. This morning, it was determined that the green "supports" were actually nothing more than PVC pipe. And we have yet to figure out what HTCO was talking about. At least one other user (maybe more; I haven't been counting) has reported that they saw what HTCO was allegedly referring to, but claims that he too is unable to say what it is because he had to sign a waiver (which the proper term would be an NDA). Complicating matters, this morning Don tweeted, "Heading out into the park to get some early morning photos that @KICentral would love to see!" At this point, either Don is trolling us with the NDAs, or HTCO is leading several established users in a group troll and Don is playing along. Either way, it stinks in here. Thanks for the cliffs notes.
  4. ^ Really that's what made you call bull? Alright people this is insane. My time is way to valuable to sift through the almost 15-20 pages I missed since last night. So if someone wants to fill me in they may do so, if not I will continue breathing.
  5. That story reminds Me if the day before the major Son of Beast accident. I was at spirit song and it was in between shows I went out to use the restroom. As I was leaving timberwolf a guy was on his phone and I heard him say "Son of Beast crashed?" I went over there and it was shutdown but not got crashing. The very next day it would have it's accident and lose its loop. As for this accident, if she ready was making a commotion about not being secured wouldn't another op e stop or even not send the train? I'm sure it takes multiple ops to send a train.

  7. But there are NFL games
  8. I was getting home from work.
  9. Yes Can't believe I beat Terpy on this one.
  10. Do you not remember the controversy a few years ago about some props for haunt and live animals in Slaughter house? They've had controversial elements ever since they received the Haunt moniker in 2007 when Club Blood debuted (really since 2006 with the first incarnation of Holiday Horror). This is from the NY Daily Times. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/steve-mcnair-sahel-kazemi-skeletons-kings-island-amusement-park-celebrity-graveyard-report-article-1.385431

  12. Maybe Skillet will announce the ride.
  13. First year took us 4hrs to get into place, second year took us 2hrs to get out of place, 3rd year took us 1hr and 1/2 in traffic on highway to get home... So next year 1hr in front of my house? NIGHTMARE! Especially in a car with no working AC for 1st and 3rd year... I went this year for the first time since the Sprint Cup was there. On Saturday, the race was rained out until Sunday, we parked in the front row in Lot 6, got right out and was at my parents house in Fairfield in three hours. On Sunday, we hit I-71 in three and a half hours hours and got to the 1047 exit, the exit before the Speedway, in 4 hours. In all an 2 hour trip took 6 hours.
  14. Man you don't know traffic issues until you have been to a race at Kentucky Speedway.
  15. Wasn't WindSeeker one of Kinzel final additions? I really don't remember.
  16. Growing up in Fairfield, Oh I went a lone a lot during the summers. Like Terpy has said, it is what you will make it.
  17. If you look a bit to the right in that photo, just out of frame, you'll find that awesome terrain coaster hidden in the woods you're looking for - it's called Adventure Express A few others made mention of it, but there are indeed speakers back there now, playing a loud (and indeed "bone chilling") screaming noise every so often. Reminds me of the Son of Beast box.
  18. I think most were pleasantly surprised by WS. We knew CP was getting a WS, but KI getting one threw people by surprise.
  19. I know they do not normally tease for Haunts but these mannequins make me wonder for sure.
  20. I was a cast member at The Magic Kingdom park in 2011 and miss it dearly. My favorite ride at WDW would have to be Haunted Mansion. My favorite thing to do at WDW would either be putt-putt, the bird show at Disney's Animal Kingdom, or Philharmagic at Magic Kingdom Park. Walt Disney World is not only Magic Kingdom - in fact, EPCOT is my favorite Disney World park, then Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is great for little ones but it gets kind of boring as you get older and when you visit more often (been at least eight times so I might just be getting bored with it) - so I think it's okay. I love love love Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Haunted Mansion, but Peter Pan's Flight and Winnie the Pooh are getting outdated. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a great coaster and will have some good competition with Seven Dwarfs. My favorite ride is Space Mountain; favorite non coaster is Pirates of the Caribbean. Oh: and don't go on Stitch's Great Escape. Don't. I disagree while, DAK is my favorite park, MK was always fun for me.
  21. I actually agree with YoungStud for once. The Vekoma flyers are far superior to the B&M ones, in my opinion. As a person who has ridden Manta at SWO and Firehawk at KI, I must say Manta blows the fire out of Firehawk. Very interactive and you are laying on your stomach during the lift instead of looking into the sun.
  22. So if Holiday World does something then KI can as well?
  23. ^ I can actually agree with Joncars for once on this topic.
  24. I like it. At least it is still standing.
