Should have bought the ride picture though....My friend is about 4 inches taller than me and I looked like a half pint brawler standing next to him....LMAO!

Why does Cedar Fair allow this ridiculously variation of policy through out their chain? It sure makes it difficult for the visitor. For instance the entrance polices above, and glasses allowed on rollercoasters at one park and not the other. The hodge-podge of policy makes it look unorganized to me and I'm sure some stock holders would feel the same.

On The Beast....Why was the first tunnel connected to the second tunnel and why was the final helix not completely enclosed as they had originally planned?

They only need to install two more support structures to complete the first drop!....they might even finish the first drop earlier than my predicted Friday! Woo Hoo!!!

I waited 2 months for my first Outer Limits: Flight of Fear ride....my first trip.....wait time was 8 hours +....my second trip the parking area was full all the way to Western Row Road...my third Paramount had scheduled a company picnic park sellout (in the middle of summer, no less)...two months later after several "ain't no way I'm waiting in that line!" trips, waited 6 hours from about where WindSeeker's entrance is located. Now, I don't do lines. Anything over 40 minutes, including Fastlane days..."nope",,,, I just do my ERC and leave on most occasions... I will, however, wait for Banshee....unless Fastlane is in force....otherwise no.

Just wow.....I wonder how many people have bought their ticket only to know they won't be able to wear glasses....bad policy that might offend possible repeat visitors...you for instance.

Are you certain the snakes where what you say they were (pending deletion of the quote) ? Handling one in the dark and possibly losing it or harming it could be an issue....to some folks.

Wonder if the new top dog could fix that problem, if addressed directly?

Sounds like an ADA violation...they should be able to reasonably accommodate anyone who must wear glasses to board and disembark from any ride....it could be unsafe to do so without the appropriate eyewear.

I wonder why they have that policy? seems odd since you would think they would want you to be able to see and possibly have eye protection.

What I find that is amazing is that an 83 year old can't hear a conversation when you are three feet away but can hear an ambulance coming from 5 miles away (that the person talking to them can't hear)...true story.... I can't imagine that Banshee will be anywhere as loud as SOB's lift hill was...

^^^ Is there a different crew for this year? Last years drummers were fantastic....not to say I didn't enjoy this years group...they were great too. I guess I feel that last years crew was a little more interactive with the crowd.

I find that most people rush through the houses. I try to look around while I'm inside. The easiest way to see the haunt attractions is to hang back and let the crowd ahead of you rush on through...It gives the monsters a break to get back into place and yes they will scare you...I also find that the KI haunts have very few distractors...(one monster distracting you while another scares you), this would lessen the conga line effect.

If they were to give Coney Mall a Gemini Midway makeover, I would hope they would make it look more like old Coney Island and bring back those classic rides Cuddle Up and Lost River (with todays technology added)...Maybe even the Haunted House!

Waaaaay back when CF took over it happened to me....it's hard to not remember being locked out for the season....I guess times change, I'm sure they have worked out the bugs, but hey, I don't want to take a chance of it happening to me again.....soooooo I wait until after season to buy....sometimes right up to the last second.

I see. Because it is private property connecting the park to the mainland, it makes it a peninsula... Just for fun, I was reading a debate about peninsulas, and they got rather technical saying that if there is a bridge anywhere along a manmade causeway path it would remain an island (this was in general and not specifically about CP) About the other area....oopsie....many, many years ago we were herded from the parking lot onto that section to exit the park....it took what seemed like hours to exit...although there are many neat little vacation homes in that area....wouldn't mind spending a summer vacation there. Now I'm longing to go back to CP.....sigh...next summer...

I always thought it was an island with a man made causeway to the island, turning it into an peninsula.

an even better reason to wait until the last day to get the pass....at least you will have free parking right to the end of the Halloween season.
