you know, i don't ever recall having to use a park map at Kings Island, or at Cedar Point (unless you count memorizing the park map from the web-site.)

o.k. i can't believe i just remembered this, but in august when i went to Cedar Point, me and my family were walking in frontiertown and i was telling my family how i thought it was neat that Cedar Point had painted horse shoes on the ground in response to maverick, but when ever i brought it up anyone that was standing around was laughing at me, then i came to find out that there weren't really hoof prints but actually peoples shoe prints from the wet side walk from mavericks water canons.

i'm not sure about repainting The Racer, but flying eagles was removed to make room for backlot.

You should have seen the snake over at coney maul the first haunt weekend!! Personally, I am upset with the trees being destroyed, but I understand things must change. I just hope they are replaced elsewhere in the park. Have a look here. If you look closely, you'll be able to tell that some trees will be making a return visit to The Beast's plaza area. After visiting the park on the 1st, I could see KI getting rid of the "Beast Canyon" entrance, and placing a new entrance very near to the ORP stand. It seems very logical to me to redo it that way. could you please post a new link. and i like The Beast canyon building

Well, Vortex's entrance is hard enough to find anyway... Not if you've ridden it once. I never forget where to find Vortex. you know i would have agreed with your theory two years ago "if you have ridden it once you won't forget where the entrance is", but i have come to find out i always forget where the entrance to cedar creek mine ride is.

yes, that is true. but look at it this way, little bill's giggle coaster and top thrill dragster are both sit-down roller coasters, but they are still two completle different forms of that "breed" of roller coaster.

umm, rugrats isn't even the same type of roller coaster as volcano.

i truely have a three way tie between strata, giga, and wooden. but i voted for wood.

that is exactly what i did for Firehawk on opening day, and then i just got in line once the it started to move and only had to wait 3 hours! oh, and don said that the entrance to The Beast will look like what it did the year that it opened, can anyone post a picture of that, please?

and sometimes will actually look for line jumpers, insted of just letting them cut right infront of the booth.

the only rides that i don't hold my hands up on are ones that have OSR's because i need to hold on so i can keep my head from hitting it.

i'll be the first to admit that i was getting ready to post a liar response.

o.k. this might sound funny, but i love roller coasters, heights, and high speeds but i get scared to death when i ride the zephyr, and unless i brought a friend that wants to ride them, i never touch them.

really i had no idea that a small metal frame with a roof was a greatly themed station.

i also noticed this, along with the red racer getting a far higher ridership this year compared to the blue racer.

o.k. since they are redesigning The Beast entrance are they also going to redesign the entrance to the crypt?

o.k. i know this is most likely not the best thing to go by, but if you look at both the fly-around, and off-ride animations for Diamondback, the big flower boxes are still there, but you don't see any of the current entrace of The Beast.(where the snack machines are.)

so now that the season has came to a close i was wondering what ride everyone rode the most this year, and how many times you rode it. (unfortunatly i only made it to Kings Island 7 times this year.) for me it was the red racer with a grand total of 7 laps, followed closely by: Adventure Express:6 Son of Beast:5 and The Beast:4.

wow and i thought i was the only one that done this. i just hope that they leave that support out in the open like that so i can hug it and feel the vibrations as a train goes down the hill next year.

angrybeaver, in your 4th pic of The Racer, i'm the one in the next to last row in the brown hoddie.

well if they have extras i would happily take one.

is it really that long? i didn't even pay any attention to it taking that long to walk through it, well then again my sister was scared and was sorta pushing me, our dad, and his friend through it.
