  1. i don't know swinging fast toward the hard concrete floor is a little scary to some people.
  2. yea, the first time i rode the crypt this year my jaw dropped and i froze in shock when i saw what they had done to it.
  3. what a lovely story.
  4. i thought they removed the front row, not the back.
  5. ^ dane, did you get my pm i sent you earlier?
  6. 2? i thought there was only 31 days in december.
  7. I wouldn't always trust wiki, not always reliable, but a good place to start. Hyper is coined by the first company to break the 200ft barrier, Arrow. Other companies refer to Hypers as Mega coasters, Hyper is really like calling facial tissue kleenex. But I think the key is being over 200ft but less than 300ft and it can have an out and back, twister or combination layout. So I believe Hyper is a classification and the layout does not matter. Afterall what would you call Steel Phantom/Phantoms Revenge? I would say Hyper but I think that is more debateable than SoB, which by my classification is a Hyper Woodie. and in every article i have read on Son of Beast it is referred to as a hyper woodie, i have never heard it called a mega woodie.
  8. i thought the true classification of a hyper was has a lift hill between the heights of 200-299 ft. and besides you can't trust wikipedia.
  9. ki is the only park in the world that has a hyper woodie.
  10. I suspect coaster_junky is counting Wild Thornberrys River Adventure and Congo Falls. you are correct terpy
  11. so when Diamondback is finished will Kings Island hold the record for most rides with splash downs in a single park, or is there a park with more than 4?
  12. only four more supports to go on final helix.
  13. it would be amazing if they would make an extra stop in the first turn, by the bottom of the first drop of Diamondback, sorta like on the river boat thingy at Cedar Point that slows down to see top thrill launch and run the course.
  14. i honestly hope that the construction workers get christmas off, i know that they are on a tight schedule, but i think they should have it off.
  15. is the storage track going to be an inclosed barn like Vortex's, or all out side like Son of Beast?
  16. thats great because i can't drive yet.
  17. so i have a question about ticket sales, can members of the site only buy tickets? because my mom and/or dad would have to take me, and neither of them have membership here.

he has the inability to kick a football. but i would take charlie brown over the new micky mouse anyday.
  19. ^ i love riding in the second row on top thrill dragster, when right after the launch you hit the steam coming off the launch cable.
  20. am i the only one that is bugged by the fact that the two sides of the station roof are completely different lengths?
  21. ^i still have to drive to another state to go to an amusment park, unless i have the urge to drive 3 hours away to go to sfkk, or just drive 1 hour across the river to Kings Island.
  22. i really hope i can make it to this one, because i like angrybeaver have made it to a wopping zero of the first to events.
