  1. i thought they counted it as one of the 10 drops on Diamondback
  2. well to be really technical, wouldn't that be the pullout of the fourth hill being that the hammerhead turn isn't a hill, but just an overbanked turn?
  3. the pull out of the third air time hill has been put in place
  4. there are at least three peices of track lined up by the final helix
  5. everytime i went to Kings Island this year (after this support had been put up) i would hug this support
  6. i think this is my favorite support http://kiDiamondback.com/public/latest/gal...ge&chip=366
  7. so now is Diamondback going to have another element new to hyper coasters? or did you just forget about the mid course break run?
  8. it was also the first wooden coaster to cross the 200' barrier.
  9. yea, my dad took his friend to Kings Island on one of the bring a friend free day, and had to wait in a line for half an hour, and the line was for the dip n' dots stand.
  10. what is that suppost to mean exactly?
  11. hey everyone there are more supports laying by the final helix!!
  12. i don't think that means that Delirium is closed alot, but you just ended up going on one of its bad days.
  13. What is new in that pic? the little support on this side of the fence?
  14. sorry to bring up an old topic, but why wasn't the loop on dominator painted to match the rest of the track? you can see it in this video at about 1minute 11 seconds:
  15. what are they doing in the arcade?
  16. the hammerhead turn is almost all the way built.
  17. that was what i was talking about
  18. In one of the Podcasts of Mavericks construction they show a small portion of the pull through. I can only assume that the same technique will be used for Diamondback. Its video #3 Maverick's Podcast Site yes, they used that for maverick, but they used what i am talking about with kingda ka, and since Diamondback is tall with steeper inclines than maverick i don't see them pulling one of the heavy cars around the track when there is an easier option.
  19. when i was in fifth grade my class took a trip to the gov's mansion and was amazed by how the mirrors made it appear to look like a never ending hall way.
  20. ^ i thought they built a light weight model of one of the cars so they wouldn't have to pull one of the real, and very heavy cars around the track.
  21. you may be a cp addict if you are watching national lampoon's vegas vacation and hear "ready to go" and think of standing in line for top thrill.
  22. has anyone else noticed that on the off-ride animation that it never shows the train on Diamondback going over the 3rd airtime hill? it goes straight from the hammerhead turn to the first helix.
  23. quick question, when they do the pull through on Diamondback with the wooden cart, do they really have to pull it around the whole track, or just in the spots where it looks like it might be possible for a rider to touch a support?
  24. looks good, what exactly do you use to draw your ideas?
  25. i dought that, mainly because almost everyone in the park will most likely be thinking the same thing.
