Hersheypark started in 1907.It's still alive and kicking.....

I used to go to the park when i went to high school in south Philly.It was a great park then and I am sure it is still on par with they way it was back then.I would definately try to pay a visit there.

We always pack a cooler of food and leave it out by the picnic tables by the main entramce.So far we have never had any problems with anything being taken from it.If you don't feel comfortable doing that you can always leave it in the car and go back out for it.

Yeah you are right about that they do have a great product but the being closed on sundays reverts back to the bible.Also there buisness model is all about biblical principals... You can have a good produst and still not be successful....... it is possible...

And here is the sad thing 99.9 % of Chic-Fil-A's do 20 % or more in sales than any fast food chain store will do in 7 days they do it in 6..... Why is this? Because they run their buisness on biblical principals... I have personal expierience I worked for them for about a year and half loved working there......it's a great first job for any teen great atmosphere....

As for cabin's the old campgrounds had some cabins that could be rented they weren't big cabins but they had some.

What the campgrounds do is for lower income families is it gives us a cheaper place to stay so we can spend multiple days at the park.Instead of spending one day in the park and 2 nights in the hotel.Believe it or not camping is making a huge comeback.....But I will not base my trip to PKI just because they do not have a campgrounds or not.However i do wish they still had them I loved waking up hearing Top Gun testing every morning..................

Well as sad as it is that they will not have a campgrounds next year.I will still make my anuual trek to Kings Island. There are other campgrounds in the area we stayed at one about 8 miles from the park.It was really nice now it was not near as convienant as staying on park grounds but oh well..............

We to tried a local campgrounds.Now it did not have the added convieniance as did the one that was next to the park.But it was a really nice campground.They had a pool and a nature preserve that you could go hiking in and was still only about a 10 minute drive to the park.I would love to see another campground built at the park though.Last I heard there were plans to build one for next season and that came from a response to an email to the park.

I really don't think they would even retrofit them to electric it would be a ton cheaper on them to just buy new cars if they were going to electric

In all regards please tell me where in the heck would SFKK really put another coaster???They don't hardly have any land left.

The 2 day tickets online are only 44.99 so pretty much the same as getting them from blockbuster.Only a tad more convieniant.

Not to crack on my favorite park.But has anyone not noticed the shaby condition of Top Gun.The theming has gotten worse and worse over the years.The track is rusting and the station aint looking the greatest either.I mean come on with the very little theming it did have how hard would it have been to keep in goos shape???

Went to the park 6/19 had a great day as always.Got to ride IJST once I really liked the ride as did my oldest daughter.I just don't understand why we have a big grassy area where a park classic and a fan favorite used to be???? Oh well had a great time non the less................

The longest i waited was for Raptor at CP when it first opened.Lngest at Kings Island was for Top Gun the year it opened man what a dissappointment.It is a good coaster just needed to be longer......

There's one thats 8 to 10 miles away from the park called Cedarbrook.We have a site booked for 4 nights in the third week of june for our anual trip to Kings Island.Man I can't wait to go............

Ok emailed the park last night and here's wht i got..... Thank you for your interest in the 2005 camping season. However, due to construction of a new resort, the campground will be under construction until the 2006 season. Please continue to check the website at www.pki.com for any further updates on our new campground. There are 2 local campgrounds in our area for the 2005 season. Olive Branch (513)-932-4399, or Cedar Brook (513)-932-7717. Thank You, PKI Campground Management this means we will not have a campground until the 2006 season ok i guess i gotta check out these other places then......thanks all

i know this topic has been beat to death but my brother has been trying to get some info whether or not they are going to have campgrounds this yr or not? He has called the parks number and it says something about reservations for 2005 in the message.... So if any one who either works for the park or knows something about it i'd appreciate the info.. thanks tim

I used to go to that Six Flags when i was in high school.Lived about 2 hrs away in Philly. out of all the Six Flags i have been too it is the best by far for rides and cleanliness.Heck even Dollywood puts Six Flags over Georgia to shame....

finally the masses have spoken!!!!! we stayed in the campgrounds this past season and really had a great time.when we found out they were closing them we were bummed cause we already had our trip in the planning process for next yr.this was our first trip the pki with our kids and the really loved the park and wanted to go back for vacation next yr but with no campgrounds it would be hard for us to afford several nights in a hotel and a couple days at the park.......i hope this survey tells them something tim
