Actually no it doesn't. I usually ****ed all the rednecks off by slowing down their car from the control booth. Only to have the grandmas win....Ah good times. Thing is i had one of the ops do that to see if it works when it was just me and another person. Lets just say that didnt work. I still won. Lol. It was due to the fact that it was where the other guy was. If you are at the very bottom of the track next to the steel and tire wall, you will win the race every time cause there is no banking there and the others cant be too close or they will hit you or they will have to back off the gas. You just have to know where to start and where to go when you race. I been known to do 3 or 4 wide depending on the way the go kart track is shaped. And Days Of Thunder doesnt take up much space. I get alot of good jobs from the ride ops alot when i drive the karts. It would be cool if they had a coaster go over the track. It would make it cool to see the trains going by while driving the karts.

Not to be rude or anything but you have to be joking right? Your are the only person I heard of that like Days Of Thunder. I dont think KI has enough room for 5 coasters. I am not joking. I love Days Of Thunder. I am a big go kart freak. You just have to know where to start at and where to race at on the ride. Works everytime.

Days Of Thunder needs to stay. Its a good ride and doesnt take up alot of gas. And the karts are made more for adults. I drive go karts all the time and them shouldnt be called jr karts. They make too much money on them to remove them anyway. I love Days Of Thunder. The rides that should go are Top Gun & SOB. With the room PKI has they can build like 5 or 6 more coasters plus 3 more themed areas. They should build like another woodie that goes though the woods. Makes for a better ride.

I was there last year and it needed one. I havent been to the park this year yet so i am not sure if it got painted this year yet.

Build 5 new coasters in 5 years. And build another themed area with rides and shops. And bring back the monorail.

What type of track would you use if you had the job of retracking SOB? I would use steel tube track to make the coaster more better then it is now.

I know for a fact every so many years they paint the steel coasters. I am not sure about that on the wood coasters. I know that Vortex needs a new paint job.

They wont get rid of Mission Space. The thing costs between 40 to 140 million dollars.

What are the other 5 top water parks?

When i was at the Q&A at CoasterMania that is what was said about them keeping or buying out the Paramount contract. You have to of been at the Q&A to hear them say that otherwise no one really knows what was said.

I was at a Q&A thing at CoasterMania this year and it was said by the higer ups that the Paramount name has 10 years still to go. They said they may either keep the rest of the 10 years or buy out the contract. The Nick name which they said will still stay at the park or parks for the rest of the contract which has 4 more years to go. Hopefully this clears up all the stuff about the names and contracts. The only names they will change if they do any will be the Paramount named rides. When Cedar Fair took over Geauga Lake, they only changed the Six Flags Named rides they didnt have the rights to.

I was at a Q&A thing at CoasterMania this year and it was said that no changes will be made ot the park this year as far as major things. And as far as Winterfest goes it was said by the park that it went real well which is the reason they are having it this year hopefully. When i was at Winterfest i saw alot of people at the park. It was like a normal day in the summer. It should go on this year to see if they do anything and then see if they should have it next year. They will loose money of they dont have it as it was said in a ad. As far as the Paramount name and the Nick name go, they will still keep the Nick name for the rest of the contract which is 4 years and the Paramount name they will either keep or buy out the name. The Paramount name if they keep it is 10 more years. They need to keep the themeing to the rides and call it a different name that goes with the themeing. They wont have alot of name changing cause the only rides that have the paramount name were the ones that were build after Paramount took over. Which wasnt alot. And it didnt take too long for them to change things over at Geauga Lake when they took over very close to the season opening. When you have alot of stuff left over from last season alot of parks instead of letting sit they sell it some how and get new stuff that isnt old or anything. Or make money off of it and use it for new things. They need to have tv ads for Winterfest if they have it to tell people about the event. This will bring more people in from all around. We should know though by maybe aug or sept if they will have Winterfest or not.

i guess its a tax there butt off so they can raise there prices kinda thing lol.i know all the hotels in sandusky has a 3%bed tax and the city complanes that they have no money half the time.if sandusky didnt have Cedar Point they be broke that is for sure.

He is the ceo of Cedar Fair.I think its a bad thing for right now.But its up to him if he wants to retire or not.He and his staff do there very best to help make the parks fun and safe for all.

The worst park i know of is the little water park next to The Columbus Zoo.The rides hardly ever work.The water slides they have 3 which are 2 or 3 person tube ones,2 body slides,and a wave pool that dont work right.And the roller coaster is like the only thing that is working all the time.Its being sold to The Columbus Zoo.Its a Six Flags park so its a normal thing i guess lol.But i am hoping The Zoo puts alot of better rides and slides in and makes the park more better.I know if i owned it i would take out everything in the off season and redo it all.All new stuff but the coaster.Just needs new paint.Its not worth the 25.00 to 35.00 to get in.

my favorite rollercoaster at Cedar Point is wicked twister.

winterfest was real good.went there sat dec.17th,2005.the lake show was good worked great.the train which had lights and postcards along the way was cool.i thought the whole winterfest was good.was the first time i ever went to a lights thing at a park i felt the christmas cheer the whole time.i liked the tower lighting too.i was in the season pass place right inside the gate to look in there and heard like a bunch say it was really good.the show at the paramount was cool too.they had bubba gump open as well.the parade was good could of been longer but it was good.i had a really good time.

by the way as of 04 the last time i saw Flight of Fear inside where the track is,the king cobra trains are still in the building.

should be real cool.be better then the one six flags owns up next to the zoo.

news flash.its thanksgiving weekend.people are on trips and things.so it would explane the lack of people its opening night.and the only places to put lights and things at near the train tracks is on the buildings where the props are at.its very hard to put lights and things on trees in the woods if animals are there and the trees could fall over breaking everything.

if people cant use sense and get out of a storm even lighting its there fault.remember when the dude got struck when he touched his car?if you look closely ijst has a tornado trailer near the ride incase of one.anyway boomrang bay does need more indoor places incase of a really bad storm.dont want a bunch of wet people cramed in one shop.had that happen at a water park here in columbus,ohio that six flags owns.not a good thing.but anyway they need something out somewhere away from people and rides to keep the lighting away from things and people.say out in the area of the woods by The Beast.alot of room noone goes to.and is away from everything.
