Nothing to see here just keep moving! It looks like it's not going to make it to the top of the next support! 40 degree lift hill. Diamondback has begun what is likely to be a legendary rein of dominance over Kings Island. *raises eyebrows* Compare this to a pic from 6 months ago, and 6 months from now. Crypt Time! OK the Crypt was real fun, back to Diamondback I can't wait untill the drop is done. Hills. Hills. Airtime. Airtime. Fun. Fun.

2 hours at KI + Shortlines + Camera = 68 pictures. Of course I had a blast, expect 4 posts of it. Lots and lots of track as normal. (Like something changed) The first thing I noticed was that Diamondback is starting to "Sprout". My tradition Pic. The Second Thing I noticed was how empty it was. International Street, you know the drill. Diamondback is going to become KI's Dragster, visible from anywhere and towering over everything. Fountains 'n stuff. Since it was so cold some rides didn't open untill later, like Drop Tower. But Invertigo called to us with it's non-existant line. Ride on. Inverted Loopiness. Then there was a Delerium Walk on! I'm on there somewhere... It was beautiful! What? AE Closed? BOOOO!! Racer has no line. Wee. Not only did The Racer LOOK pretty.... ...But as always it provided an amazingly fun ride. Then 2 walk ons on the Flight of Fear!!

California's Great America? It was Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom which correct me if I'm wrong ran faulty or out of date parts on Superman Tower of Power, an Intamin G2 Drop Ride, and the girl lost her legs. And for saftey reasons Cedar Fair shut down their drop rides for saftey checks including Kings Islands Intamin G3 drop ride.

Lets not start the AE Sucks deal. AE is one of my favorite coasters and a favorite of most others, and if you want to complain about it don't do it here to a majority who enjoys AE please. Thank You!

I like one thing my mom said, dying of old age in my sleep. Things like Halloween Haunt make me gratefull of dying like that. I just hope I never need "Urgent Scare!"

There's a natural fear of dying. It's no one's choice to be afraid, they just are. Same thing that makes babies naturally hold their breath when they go underwater. Some say it's because you don't know for sure what lies on the other side. Heck, I'm kinda afraid of it! But some people who have by medical terms technically passed and died have actually come back; getting a heart to beat after it's stopped, and getting the brain to function after it's shut down, and most who have come back say it's nothing to be afraid of. But, I digress. Let us continue with the always fun quotes of the non-enthusiasts.

Opening Day 2008. The day started out good but ended up near 40 or less degrees and raining. I waited 45 minutes for the Son of Beast, what was I thinking! It was freezing cold and right as I entered the station it started raining, the drops hit me like bee bee gun bullets and the windy cold chilled me to the bone. But I loved it!

I'm gonna have to go with beastfan62 on this. Over the past week it probably grew about 100+ feet, and you're complaining because it's not 200 feet yet, and you don't even know that!

I am surprised how many people are truely terrified of dying or being hurt on these rides, I mean, would they open it if they didn't think it was safe? I've always said I feel safer in the seat of a coaster car then in my bed, I only get nervous because of hights.

^Go to KI and measure it, I bet it's up near 185 feet.

Intamin designed it so that if it rolls back it has breaks in the launch area, if you watch a launch you will see metal fins come up after the launch.

It was sold to the top bidder a few months ago, not to operate again but will be re-erected for "Nostalgiac Purpouses".
