Interesting, to say the least. There's dirt moving and land clearing and it's fresh. Coaster_Junky is right, Diamondback's storage area was there. So that means it could be anything from Demolition teams, new ride there, new ride somewhere else, who knows! I say let's see how this one plays out.....

Right now they just lost their GM, Will Koch. They're direction is about as clear as who will be the GM of the park in 2 years, right now they have to figure out who will replace Will and then they can think about where that will lead them.

I thought the exact same when I rode it. Try the front seat. How is it your #1 wooden coaster when you only love it in one seat? Because that one seat is......holy......omfg.....wow. If you catch my drift.

How sad. Whether you like these older rides or not, it was coasters like GASM which truly defined the last half of the century. They became staples of the amusement park, and now it seems they're just starting to disappear..... Jackson, who wonders if the time for our beloved Vortex is running short also....

I went to Holiday World on a day where the heat index was near 110. Sure, we spent most of our time in Gobler Getaway and had to spend an hour cooling off in Kringle's Kafe, but it was still a great time despite the heat. I say go, have fun, if worst comes to worst then don't be afraid to go into Festhaus to see a show, and make sure to drink plenty of water...maybe have some ice cream! Sit in Row 16 of Diamondback and let your arm get wet. There are plenty of ways to cool off. Have fun!

I can assure you, the cost of refurbishig Nick U could have gotten them a medium new attraction.

On KIC Day 2008 they said they go by rotation of "Big, Medium, Small" Obviously that means just a flat for KI 2011 and a new roller coaster for KI 2012!!!!! There is no pattern to additions...

I did, but not as much as Kraken. Manta's layout is very basic and aside from the pretzel loop and the splash near the lake, it's actually somewhat uninteresting. Yeah I did, it was pretty good. If you could combine Manta's queue with Kraken's ride, you'd get a great coaster. Now that's enough, save some for the PTR!

I rode Kraken today for the first time. . I wouldn't mind having that at KI. Although in retrospect, I'd rather have an Invert, as a floorless is too similar to the Arrow Mega Loopers.

All this talk makes me extremely tempted to E-Mail Lance saying Son of Beast is half gone and pieces of Intamin Track are laying under Flight Deck, just to see what happens.

I saw Kenwood Towne Centre once, that's as far as I've seen.
