Just a little update......... Passed KI today. It looks like RR is done being painted, it looks good from the road. The Avatar car looks like it's back on there is no huge character on it, but it has a huge blue tarp around it. FOC has some tarps around it, it's mostly around the right side of the coaster. Maybe they're painting it or just off season maintanance. The Nickelodeon Store also looks like it's being primed or something of that nature. I didn't have my camera with me, but I might try to swing back by and get some pics!

I worked in Merch. in '07. The video system on FoF was supposed to be up and running by May, but it wasn't til july that it even worked. When it finally did work is was soo unrealiable, plus nobody bought them. They were 21.99 I believe, so they weren't cheap. They didn't even last til August. It was one of those epic fails!

I think they are going to paint the fences blue. That's just my assumption from one of the Carowinds facebook pics.

Wow - they must have done a lot of work since Sunday when I swung by for a little look. There was nothing "new" visible in NU/PS. Reptar was still Green/Yellow (I think I'd like Orange actually) and FOC was still Purple (I really hope this changes). Maybe one of the good photographers on the site can swing by and snap a couple of pictures - with the bare trees, you can actually see quite a bit from KI drive/passenger pickup area. I just happened to notice reptars colors on my way to Best Buy. I pulled into the metro parking lot at KI to get as close as I could. All that I could visibly see was Reptar's color change, and it looked nice from the lot. I tried to take pics with my blackberry, but none of them were good enough to see the details. I think I might try to take my camera on Friday and get a few pics. P.S. The top of SDTHC was still the same colors it didn't look like anything had changed.....yet.

Just passed ki and all I could see is that reptar is being painted orange supports and yellow track. I also could tell that either the avatar character or maybe the actual ride car itself is gone. Also the top of the nick store looks like it's getting ready to be primed. That's all I got just figured I'd let you know.

Well one of my favorite things to do was always ride SDTHC, so I think I will go check and see what they turned it into first. Then Diamondback!

Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle

Why would they? Wild Thornberry's is Nick, and it's the oldest of the Nick shows represented at KI. It hasn't been on in 10 years. It should have been gone years ago. I'm really hoping Snoopy doesn't take over the log flume, unless he goes where the elephant is with his leg up. That would be gross and funny at the same time! haha

I personally think Intimidator looks better, but what are your thoughts??

I agree I grew up in the 90's so I loved Scooby Doo, and the Flinstones. I would much rather see Hanna Barbera back. Don't get me wrong though, I am very interested to see how Planet Snoopy turns out!

I swear I remember it having two trains when I was little. One would be in the station and the other would be on the brake run. Maybe i'm crazzy.

I remember when Runaway Reptar opened it had two trains, anybody know why they took the second one off?? Do you think they will ever put it back on? Edit: 200th post! woo I'm a Junky!

Well it finally happened. I'm a little dissapointed.

I imagine that we will see one of these on the main page of KI's website soon. I wish we could keep Nickelodeon Universe it's one of a kind!

I have that same feeling. King's Island and Carowinds probably will. I wonder if CGA will since CF is trying to sell??

Yes! www.themeparkbrochures.net Off topic, but did the train really used to go the other way?? On the map it shows it going the opposite way.

Since Canada's Wonderland just announced it's adding Planet Snoopy next year, how much longer do you think it will be till KI makes the same announcement??

I was at KI tonight and went over to SOB while my sister was riding Skyflyer. All the signs for SOB are gone, the height signs and all the info signs. They were even gone throughout the entire line. It makes me kinda worried, because I personally love SOB.

I got 100% I don't know how I guessed the movie question.
