The elements of winter cancel Winterfest...I can't help but laugh at that.

Probably the same reason that you're not allowed to film movies in the theater. You're not supposed to get the experience unless you paid for it.

I love the uphill launches. Revenge of the Mummy, Hulk, and Space Mountain (Disneyland Paris) all have these and they rock.

I'm not going. I went to Winterfest before and I don't think it's anything spectacular. Plus, with only four rides open, and only one of them being one I like, it's a little too pricey.

It would be weird if Universal put in another Kong ride. They just demolished their old one to make room for the Revenge of the Mummy coaster.

Launching the final fof train of the season...in the old Outer Limits crew uniform, and finding a fake breast underneath Tomb Raider. Those moments really stick out in my mind.

I believe the biggest thing we'll get involving spongebob is a themed walkthrough and/or kids play area. I don't think for a second that we're getting the Boating School ride everyone wants.

I must have missed all the bad stuff on Saturday. For me, the crowds were, for the most part, very nice. There were alot of happy people riding TRTR, and for a change, not once the entire time I was there did I get a complaint from a guest that the ride was too short. Many of them got off the ride screaming about how awesome it was. What on earth was going on outside my ride building?

Exactly how many acts of vandalism are required before you actually become an official, Webster's dictionary defined, 'graffiti person'?

For their own sake, this had better be a better investment than Kingda Ka.

Movies that rides are based on are seldom for families. It's all about how much action and how many effects were in it that people would like to experience first hand. Tomb Raider wasn't a family movie either, and look at USF's list. Back to the Future, Shrek, and to an extent MIB were family films, but what about Jaws, Mummy, Terminator, Twister, and Jurassic Park. They weren't family films (parents only took their kids to JP to see the dinosaurs).

The jets were falling apart from age. PKI didn't really pay any attention to them, so time, rain, rust, etc. eventually got hold of them, especially the mig.

TG: Fire at Will: it WAS a video game.

It was a video game.

Yeah, I was really hoping for George Romero's Top Gun II: The Return of Goose.

Kenton Cove Keelboat Canal was in Rivertown, and was replaced with Tomb Raider.

Coaster: have to say Face/Off...it's a good ride, but it's so short that unless the line is 10 minutes or less, I won't go near it. Water Ride: Congo Falls...after riding Jurassic Park in IoA, I'm probably just spoiled, but that ride has absolutely no appeal to me whatsoever. It only has the drop and that's it, not a shred of theming after the movie it's supposedly based on now, or anything special after the drop is over. Thrill Ride: Drop Zone...love the ride, but I like the rest of our selection of thrill rides better. Flat: Viking Fury...it's one majorly boring ride to me. I loved it when people did the "taste great, less filling" chant, but it seems like nobody does it anymore. Water Park ride: Not applicable, I haven't been to our water park since the year before they built the wavepool.

For the ride, the music was fitting. But, coming from Garfield, I found it far too simplistic. It's fair to say that I was very disappointed with it and only miss it now because that ride definitely needs all it had in the beginning to remain interesting and fun.

Just pray we get that instead of Dracula's Haunted Castle. Elvira was at least 10 times better than that piece of trash.
