Captain Picard replied to Avatar's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I think it's going to hard for Avatar to get out of bed on Friday 10/3. -

Talked to my brother in Florida and he said that some of the gas stations are closed because they are out of gas. -

Tips for a HHN First Timer

I don't know about re-entry. Yes, I believe you can take in 10 year olds in but I wouldn't. The times I been there I haven't seen many 10 year olds at HHN. If you don't get a express passes expect to stand in line and miss half of the event. It will be packed and you will not have time to go out of the park and return. The lines are like what you find when a new ride opens at KI or Cedar Point. Express pass lines are little or no wait. -
Just wondering who was behind Diamondback

I think at KIC day we were told that it's been around a year since the project started. -
Captain – I hear ya there, in my business gas is killing us and the need to purchase a new van, had me second guessing our upcoming fall trip. I am glad we decided to stay at the Disney Value Resort or I would haft to cut back the trip further. We trimmed it from 14 nights to eight night and cut out some of the other Orlando destinations that we have wanted to do. So we will do Disney this year and focus on the other Orlando parks over the next couple years, plus Miss Rae is getting older and will probably enjoy those other parks more so then. So captain when are you and the Misses going this year? It looks like they are making some changes to their Halloween Event, to be even better. Looks like the week of the 8th. There is a shuttle Launch targeted for Oct. 8. I have been down to see a launch before but the date always changes. I have been cutting back too. The friends and family don't work at the parks now and that cuts down on the free tickets. As for family in Florida getting the Florida discounts you can't use them if you are from Ohio they check your ID.

It will be one of them coasters that still has a long line years after opening. This coaster should have been installed five years ago.

I think it's safe to ride with Avatar. I talked to him at the park before and he seemed to be a very nice guy. Now there are some here that I wouldn't recommend getting in a car with. -
I think he is talking about the way they are playing it with the media and not the web page.

I remember Uni sending out press packets like Ki did last year for HHN. I know they sent something to Screamscape.

Just tried it. Didn't work. Maybe I have the wrong kind of remote...? The problem isn't my camera, because it does have an LCD screen. You're not being a loser. I've had my oversensitive moments in here, too. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/698368/how_t...your_tv_remote/

For a horse I will go with a mechanical bucking bronco to be the theme. There are no hints that I have seen that would point to anything unless someone has told you what it was going to be. The red eye may have to do with drinking docs tonic.

Infrared cameras in this case I think would be for photography of wildlife. People can't see infrared light but a camera can. You do do a test by using a tv remote and point it at your digital camera when pushing a button. Your camera will need to be on and have a lcd screen to see.

If the ground was to tremor do you think a bottle of tonic would make it stop? I think the tonic maybe for when they announce the price of a 09 season pass.

Think big, no real big Super Wal-Mart.

No the seat is still there just wasn't anyone getting put in it when I was there.

My trip to CP 2 weeks ago it seemed that the belts on MF was longer. Last year the test seat had a line and this year they wasn't testing anyone.

I think ZosoBeast will flip when he reads your post.
