Indy: Indoor Theme Park Part of Mall Revival Plan
Lafayette Square Mall is not coming back! I'm not saying that with any disregards or bad feelings to the area or the Mall. Believe me I've been a patron to this mall since way back. I once was an employee there, and spent alot of my youth there which made for good and bad memories. The reason I say there is no chance for it now is every store known to man has passed through it's gates. It's now a spot to host things as mass. liquidation sales, almost like a big flea market. Xtreme will really not help it's chances. I will still always remember a time when this mall was all we had around , and the line to see Santa Claus was an hour plus.

HH TR 10-17
Hello everybody (Dr. Nicholes ) Well indianapoliswomen, and myself went to check out the '08 haunt for ourselves last night. We both love to ride rollercoasters after dark, and since KI is so nice to accomadate this we never turn it down. We left home around 5:00 and arrived about 7:30. The ride list as follows. Vortex 15 min. wait mid-train Beast 30 min. wait second seat BLSC 40 min. wait last car. Why so long? The launch in front of us got stuck. Son of Beast which I would of drove two hours just to ride. However the line was real short when we got in. These two immature kids (who seem to like follows everywhere) were arguing, and pushing made this ride a very long wait. For the record we were very dissapointed w\security who took stories from both parties, yet never ejected either even after smoking a cigg. right in the guys face. The security gaurds had to come up there twice, and they were still allowed to ride before us. Well anyways we rode, and then rode again with a 10 min. wait this time, both times front seat. Racer walkon second seat. It was great to return after two months. The web cam just dos'nt do Dimondback justice. Saw a couple familiar faces. Capt. Nemo at The Beast, and Cory Butcher in front of Racer. Long drive home but safe, and sound. I can't wait to come back the 1st with the kids. Happy Halloween everybody.

How many times did you go to KI this year?
Hey some one was paying attention, and it was'nt me. Yes what I meant to say was it's only 194 miles both there and back so cut the miles in half, but 32 hours driving was about right. Thanks tigellinus.

Whats going to happen with flight deck?
The first year that que was a 2 hour plus wait, all the way to the entrance. Which I was happy to wait for cause I did, and still do think it's an awsome ride. In my opinion I'd still wait two hours for FD before waiting two hours for Firehawk.

How many times did you go to KI this year?
Well let's see 9 visits this year. At 194 miles one way, that's 3,492 miles traveled, and 36 hours spent traveling. Was it worth it? Yes, every minute. Ok IBEW was completely correct. 125 miles so thats 2,250 miles. Added another trip since then, and another 250 miles, plus 4 hours driving. Wow no wonder I'm so confused.

Canal and State gardens
Thanks for reading. No nothing confirmed. A couple years ago a police officer said he spotted a croc in the river an investigation was done with no results. Yes this city is booming more cranes than I thought were possible (Terpy). With 2012 the Super Bowl approaching I won't reconize the view as it is now. Avatar lives in a great historic area which is noted as the oldest part of the city. Here is a few more pics recently taken from downtown. remember them as they are, it's going to change.

Canal and State gardens
This is pretty far from the original trip report, but something I thought was worthy of sharing. It's somthing you might want to check out if your ever in the majestic city of Indianapolis. My family and I try to fit this in to a busy schedule at least once a month during the summer months. Without further adue I bring the pictures to you. We walk from the zoo which is convienently located our home. Crossing over White river bridge. There is an abundece of wildlife in White river, and the once a while reported sighting of a crocodile. The Art museum of Indianapolis is extrordinary, but the canal boasts a wide variety of artwork itself. These peices represent something from other counties across the state. If artwork is not your thing thats fine. You have to love this though. It's a steam powered clock that plays back home again in Indiana from whistles atop it on the hour. Very cool. When your ready to sit, and float down the canal rent a paddle boat. It's quit a work out but a fun one. If that's not enough just remember it also hosts the NCAA hall of fame the zoo, and White River state Gardens. Well just wanted to show you guys what we do in between our trips to KI hope you enjoyed.

What Color Supports Do You Prefer on Diamondback?
I asked this question on KIC day. They said it was just the way the designer planned it up. Personaly I think one color would have been more approriate. Cost was probably more the issue.

When did you join KICentral?
April, Forth 2008 I actually found this site researching the new coaster for 2009. When I went to the KIC day this year I was refered to as "Newbie" instead of Sean which was cool w/me.

HRP Closed and Files Chapter 11
What would help is some booking some great acts. I saw when this park opened they were going to have an Eagle's concert. That's great but something like Jimmy Buffet with peolpe that follow him all over the country. I don't really know how much that would bring in. But places like Verizon wirless in Noblesville brings in people from all the surronding states for just a four hour show. I think it would be awsome to mix amusement parks with a great concert.
