  1. I think this is great idea; even though we live locally, we camp in East Fork, then goto Kings Island for more fun, staying at the park would be even more fun for my kids. Maybe even a cost reduction for Gold and Platinum members. With the cost of fuel and motels/hotels, I think this would benifit Kings Island
  2. Isn't October 31st straight night? The only night a straight guy can put on a dress, do up his hair, put on some makeup without being made fun of, some even receive compliments! Not that GLB or CD should ever be made fun of either, anytime. It's all for fun and to be happy in ones life. And yes my family and I have gay friends.
  3. It wasn't that good, hopefully they can fix it or replace it. Living the 80's once was enough! The first thing that bothered me was seeing a picture of Michael Jackson; He doesn't belong being associated with children. Overall the singing and the costumes are not the same quality that other shows have been at Kings Island in the past. Last years 60's was much more entertaining.
  4. I am entitled to say what I have seen! I notice my other post was deleted, now again, what time does the parking lot open?
  5. NOT silly when there was no employee standing there, hasn't been an employee there all season.
  6. The Gold Pass lot isn't special anymore, anyone, everyone and their brothers park there, there are no employees stationed there to look at ID's when parking.
  7. you can also buy them at Meijers and maybe Krogers. This weekend we seen they are running the buy one get two days same price. call the park for more info. But then again, buy a season pass and if you go twice it pays for itself.
  8. It's not a super dirty park, but it's not a Golden Park either, try standing in lines waiting for a ride and when you have nothing to do but look around, you can see the garbage sitting there. I was standing in line at Lazy town Copters and Fairly Odd Coaster this weekend with the kids and looking along side where you have to wait, I noticed lots of garbage. They can't just patrol where people walk, they have to go off the beaten path to make it better. On Friday night we noticed a toddlers baseball hat on a post at Scooby Doo, on Sunday the same hat was still there! I was under the impression last season when we lost something, the person in the lost and found window told us when the park closed they did a walk through to pickup lost items? Doesn't appear to happen anymore.
  9. We were in the park allday, don't know how we missed the old characters? And we missed the Klown Band, but looking at the pictures that are on KICentral, how do you get clown band out of a bunch of old men with instruments? An earlier post said they dress up as clowns and rove the park!
  10. My wife and I have not had a problem with toddler snacks and juice boxes, basic reasoning keep a toddlers happy and you will have less problems.
  11. It's only harder to enforce when Security and Management (who are being paid to deal with it) TURN their heads to the problem.
  12. Did anyone see the Klown Band or Hanna Characters?, We were all over the park from 10am to 10pm and didn't see them. Was anyone else unhappy with not being able to park in the gold lot? The traffic control getting into the park was poor at best. A single lane! Mason PD did a good job on getting people out of the park this time.
  13. Who do you like in County Line? Josh or Drew and why? My family likes both: Josh has musical talent and can do any show in the park, he was fantastic in Dead Awakening, but just isn't a country guy. Drew on the other hand has the country accent and fits the County Line. Drew was sick this weekend, hope he is better and can make more shows.
  14. Well now were getting someplace; I know it's available, and I know where it's at; but when? I hope someone has some knowledge of the dates.
  15. Last year anyone could purchase tickets to eat there, they were only available online for pass holders and at the gate for people that purchased a one day pass. They do companies there, but it is open to everyone who pays. If anyone wants to look at the link below it shows this year it's available, just doesn't have dates yet. http://www.pki.com/images/products/08ki_goldpass.pdf (Last page Backyard BBQ)
  16. Does anyone have any info on the picnic grove area (The one in between Nick and the swimming area) , when it will open? date? They don't have anything on the website yet to purchase tickets.
  17. At the steel B&M plant in Bativa OH Those pieces started showing up in BM'S lot last season, too far in advance for Kings Island.
  18. From what I've seen of their equiptment, CF @ Kings Island does not own a Class A pumper or Tower to facilitate their own working fires or high altitude rescues. They own a small mini-pumper next to Fairly Odd Coaster. I would have to say they are dependent on Mason for Mutual aid; but that is no reason to tax people of the park. As for the Mason Police; has anyone noticed them sitting there at closing and refusing to assist CF patrons on exiting the lot? The traffic lights are set on flash cycle! They could get out of their cruisers and manually operate the light to help empty the park out, instead of take your own chance on going through the lights.
  19. My kids met Dino last year, he made an appearance on International Street and they loved it, Hope CF keeps them around all summer.
  20. A BIG A+ for JumpinJack.... THANK YOU VERY MUCH http://www.joshbyrd.com/
  21. Thanks for trying, I asked B105 and the main number said it sounded familiar, but said to try one of the DJ's to be sure. I tried the lines separately on different lyric sites but none of the lines come up; At least not country songs. Appreciate everyones help.
  22. Drew sings a song in the beginning of the show and and words are: window down got the radio up full tank of gas in my beat up truck just an old V8 3 on the tree got my baby riding shotgun next to me and were rolling yea were rolling got my favorite station on the FM dial dj's rocking us every single mile as were rolling oh were rolling riding along with radio singing la la la at the top of our lungs beating that dashboard like a drum just letting those old songs carry our cares away we went la la la because we didn't know the words can anyone tell us what the song title and who sings it? We have tried different lyric finders but to no avail!
