I'm working on a research project on trends of vacations plans, and I was going to cover the amusement industry with it. Does anyone know where I can get park attendance for parks across the country for years past?

I've been reading the Haunt TR's, and noticed everyone focuses on the attractions, and not the general atmosphere. I'd like to hear what people thought of the roaming monsters around the park.

I will be there to personally welcome you all to your worst nightmare. And from 7 PM on, I will refer to all of my KIC friends as "chum".

But you aren't a roamer, and roamers are by far cooler.

Mason, OH After reports of a "fish monster" being spotted coming out of the Little Miami river, local amusement park Kings Island claimed they would scour the park for any signs of this creature. Early reports are that no park officials have seen any evidence, but they are now reporting that one park worker who was on the search crew has gone missing. The crew has turned its efforts away from the "fish monster" and are now searching for the missing park employee. The park will open to the public this Friday at 7, and is asking that guests help park workers be on the lookout for this missing employee. On an unrelated note, the park has stated that vandals have somehow gotten into the park. One park official stated that a strange note was posted on a fence near the lake by "Outer Hank's" restaurant. The note read simply, "Gone Humaning".

Of course, this topic was started by a guy with "Will Koch 4 president!" as his signature. Can we overturn his membership instead of that rule?

Well, I figured I should write the names so people knew it was just a joke... if they couldn't tell to begin with. I do think something that would be cool would be to have this "monster" spotted at the Newport Aquarium to advertise for the event.

I didn't really follow the press releases. Only thing I really looked at was that cheesy video they made for it.

Mason, OH Evolutionary biologists are investigating reports of a "scaly monster" seen crawling out of the Little Miami river today. "I was out fishin', and out of the corner of my eye I saw this giant blue scaly... thing taking off into the woods by Kings Island." local resident Jimbo Shrimp told reporters today. "This whole idea is preposterous." Biology professor at Xavier University Smar T. Pants explained. "A creature of this size, over six feet by some accounts, is far too large to have remained hidden all these years." Some theories have come out that this creature has recently evolved, hence the sudden appearance of it. Scientists from the area are patrolling the location, hoping to find evidence of this "fish monster". Park officials from Kings Island have stated they have no reason to believe this creature has found a home on park property, and is not allowing scientists in to investigate. "We need to know where this monster is, and if it has gone into the park, the public needs to know." Jimbo worriedly told our reporters. Park officials have stated they are doing their own search of the premises for this supposed creature, and plan to allow the public into the park on September 26th to prove that reports of this monster are unreliable. (Can ya tell I love the Halloween Horror Nights style of creating a backstory for their "icons"?)

I actually was on the list of potential WoF additions. Yes, here's how my section would have went... Mr. Uncle Henry got his start at Kings Island in 2003 as a ride operator. Through the years, he worked his way up to supervisor of the legendary Beast. In 2007 he left the ride department, and began working the fantastic Halloween Haunt event, as one of the many twisted monsters who prowled the park. He later went on to be the host of the very successful "KIC Survivor" series, as well as the creator of a video on YouTube with over 300,000 views. We owe everything to Mr. Uncle Henry. Or at least that's how I envision it in the future.
