The fireworks launch site is not but 100 yards from Beast, so they have to clear the area and wait for the fireworks to end in addition to checking the track for embers before clearing it for operation. I believe they moved the launch site when Firehawk was built (around 2007).

You know guys, Mean Streak could also be getting a GCI makeover much like GhostRider just received. -

So we've had bad dialogue and multiple renditions of Jar Jar-esque members affecting the KIC universe. Ok people, let's get on that forced romance. Chop chop. If only Kinzel were still CEO, then we'd have a Palpatine equivalent... -

Apocalypse is also in the middle of a desert-esque area. Such hot and dry conditions can't be good on a wood coaster. -

If that layout is true, well, I know this is picky, but I'm kind of disappointed that there's no station fly-through. I think something unique like that would at least separate it from other woodies in the area. -

Personally, I hope that if this is a GCI, that it has 0 inversions. -

I just thought of something with the clearing for this. Could they be using the pre-existing clearing that is the old WWC queue for part of this new attraction? -

The wood carving shop also used to be by that log flume as well if I remember correctly. Rivertown in general was much more lush in greenery. Very shady. Also, KCKC. -

Need some Gold Bond for all that stretching homestar? There is truth to that though, Walt and Claude both worked for Giovanola, a company who supplied rides to Intamin, in particular, their stand ups and the ride formerly known as Flashback at SFMM, which have track that's identical to what B&M uses today. -

If Kings Island is getting rid of the slight variety of food they do have (the one thing kind of going for the food department), then the food department will be in even worse shape than I thought. I think its time for a complete overhaul in the food department. -
