  1. Grr I hate New England's sky ride. That is my old home park and people would always want to ride it. The line was huge and it didn't take you far at all. Same thing happened at BGE. We got on at the station closest to the entrance of the park and you got a cool view of Griffon but it was such a short ride for how long we waited.
  2. Grrr I feel the anger too. I always scare my brother around the house...I'm practicing because I really want to work the Haunt this year if at all possible because I am going to be doing Admissions as well. A guy from our rides crew last year did Corn Stalkers and rides during the post season. Maybe I could try to do the same. Way off topic. Sorry.
  3. ^I thought that looked like Adventure Express with that bridge.
  4. Didn't the train just get a renovation? Now we get an amazing look at Diamondback!
  5. Yeah I agree with all of you. That's why I said I only want one if they take care of it. If not than make those two lines a front and back line. One of my peeves is when people take advantage of something and if it is at an amusement park...that gets me going.
  6. That sounds so awesome. I'm not much of a monopoly guy but I would be if I had that!
  7. I just moved back to the area this summer, could you tell me what Kings Island-opoly is? Or does it have to do with the site?
  8. I agree but ONLY as long as it is ran by an attendant. People can really take advantage of a poorly run single riders line which can get very annoying. But then wouldn't someone have to tell people in the regular line where to sit?
  9. Ohh I thought it was going to be a back/front line but I hope it's a single rider line.
  10. Yeah I saw that last time I watched it. IMO that was a good decision to do. Well actually I wouldn't know because I never went on it without the tunnel but I still love it as is.
  11. i agree with you 100% on the old breaks I prefer no breaks...
  12. Yeah I am also planning on doing that this year but it is going to be hard to get scheduled for the same shifts. But last year during training they asked us if we were going to be carpooling with anyone and gave us a form to fill out so maybe that is what they were going to do with that sheet; try to schedule you guys at the same time. After I had already started working there, a friend of mine applied. He put me as his carpool, and they put him in my store on the same shift. He never worked when I didn't, since I was his ride. Really! My friend is applying for the same position as I am so even if I don't need to carpool with her then at least I can work with her. Thanks for the extra info.
  13. haha Same here. That's why I joined this site. Just to learn more and let other people ask the questions.
  14. Does this picture say to anyone else, "There is going to be a separation in the line for guests riding in the front of the train or the back of the the train"?
  15. Yeah I am also planning on doing that this year but it is going to be hard to get scheduled for the same shifts. 16. Well, I'd be driving. And I'd probably do about 30 hours a week, if I can even get that many. It's becoming very difficult to get work anywhere at the moment, I've had to resort to working at the local jr. high school as a janitor. You will be able to get a lot of hours if you want a lot. Well that's how it was for rides. You can take other people's shifts and my supervisors just let us show up during the post season because that is when they need a lot of people to work.
  17. Dang you guys are so lucky to be going to the event. I am definitely going to go to the next event. Have fun guys/girls and thanks for this awesome site that I have so much more to learn about!
  18. I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!
  19. Even though I don't know you guys....I love you....
  20. Guilty! Especially during Haunt. I was getting off work at 10 and could still manage to get down there and have 2 hours of ride time before close. You might be a KI addict if you work at KI and still go there to have fun when you get off! Guilty ... at least, used to be. As soon as my shift ended, I ran across the park to jump on the last night trains of The Beast or Flight of Fear. Guilty! I seriously cannot get enough of that place!
  21. haha I worked there this year and it is funny how some kids try to put those things on before you get over to them. They only place one person at that ride so it takes a while to get to everyone. It is so funny to watch the kids get stuck and just stay in one spot or go around in a circle because they turned their wheel too much and have no idea what I'm saying when I say into the microphone "If you get stuck turn your wheel in a big circle!". I had to chuckle to myself.
  22. Ohh yeah Phantom Theater! I was walking to break during the Haunt and saw all of the blue characters on the stage in front of the tower and the music from the ride was playing. That's all we talked about all break were old rides.
  23. Just joined the group. I'm Hayes Dollar!
  24. Hehehe I hope you all do so that I can ride DB before all of you.
