  1. Trust me, I won't be afraid to open my big mouth. I may be a small person, and I may be a female, but you can ask any of my friends.. watch out when I get mad.
  2. MIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE <3 I get to ride that in less than 3 days. I am severely addicted to Millennium Force! I can NOT wait!!!!!!!!!
  3. I really liked Club Blood. When I went, it was almost pitch black in there, and the monsters inside scared the living crap out of me. It would be pitch black and suddenly BAM they were right there, they'd hit the wall really hard at the same time they jumped out at you. I nearly jumped out of my skin a few times. It was wicked awesome.
  4. Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis reminds me of KI. I was there on opening day, first ride I hit was Invertigo. I was behind a group of girls that had a music player out, and that song was playing. I've heard and seen Green Light by Beyonce so many times while waiting in line for Drop Tower and Invertigo, it drove me nuts.
  5. LOL I saw that lamp you're talking about! I did too, now that I think about it! I went into one of the gift shops and saw it, remembered that post, and laughed. The cashier in the shop looked at me like I had three heads.
  6. I'll be the first to say yes. I know for a fact that amusement parks do in fact consider that line jumping.
  7. Once again, exactly why I buy a drink (or grab a cup of free ice water) somewhere BEFORE I enter the queue.
  8. So giga, would leaving the MF queue because all the vending machines were sold out (as with Halloweekends last year) to run to Panda Express for a drink, and then running back and re-joining my friend in line by navigating on the outside of the queue rails be considered LJ'ing?? I should note, I also got some drinks for other people around me who gave me money! Not to offend you, but yes. It states that on the sign, on the entrance to every ride. The park considers that line jumping. I've seen people removed from the ride and even from the park for doing that, at both KI and CP. They were really cracking down on line jumpers last time I was at KI. And the last time I was at CP, I even saw the employee at the TTD entrance flat out refuse to let anyone back in line who left, no matter what they said! I'd rather not risk it. I grab a water/use the bathroom BEFORE I get in line. Some people just use that as an excuse to try and shove their way to the front of the line. You never know who is trying to meet up with their friends and who is just being an impatient jerk. Unless you have the VIP tour, fast passes, flash passes, speed lane passes, q-bots or whatever parks LEGALLY offer, it is considered line jumping by the park, and I'm not going to disrespect the park or the people around me by doing it.
  9. No. Like Terpy said, I was raised better than that. It's a little thing called fairness and respect.
  10. This is why you use the bathroom and get something to eat BEFORE you get in line. If it's a little kid trying to meet back up with their parents, I understand, but adults should know better. I'm going to start tripping line jumpers or "accidentally" spilling my drink on them. I'm tired of standing back and watching people think that they have some kind of privilege over everyone else in line.
  11. I work at the Speedway station in Piqua by I75. We dropped to 3.25 today. You can find the station prices, both diesel and regular, at any Speedway by going to www.speedway.com and typing in your zip code.. just thought I'd share that.
  12. Amazing photos! I'm sorry the park was so packed. Saturdays at any park are pretty much suicide. I'm going to CP this weekend, and I'm hoping for the best. Invertigo is much better if you keep your head back against the headrest. It's even better when you ride front/back seat, and have your hands in the air the whole time, you get an unobstructed view. I used to hate it until I learned to keep my head back during the whole ride. Do that with any launch ride, or any ride with OTSRs, and you won't get headaches anymore. Drop Tower is indeed better with your hands up on the drop, it's about time someone other than Jasper agrees with me on that.
  13. I thought I was the only one. I was crushed when they closed Americana, my dad used to take me there when I was little. I know that there are several thrill rides and coasters that if they ever tore down, they would have to medicate me heavily from going into a severe depression.
  14. I even noticed that here. I looked out at our hummingbird feeder and there were at least 10 to 20 wasps and bees on the feeder when there's usually 1 to 3. The hummingbirds don't like them either, they won't go near the feeder if there's a bee or wasp on it.
  15. This is such a horribly sad incident. Although I don't know her, I can barely read anything relating to Kaitlyn's accident without tears welling up in my eyes.
  16. Bring a cooler with food and leave it in the car. And like Beast1979 said, there is no re-entry after 7 pm so eat before then. Bring gum, your mouth gets dry after screaming and yelling on coasters, and water isn't worth $3 a bottle (also prevents bad breath.. then again, I'm a girl and am rarely seen without a pack of gum ). Bring a few Tylenol (or whatever you take) just in case you get a headache. Riding coasters with a headache makes it a horrible experience, rather than an enjoyable one. If you can, try to wear pants with cargo, button, or zip pockets so your stuff doesn't fall out. Double, triple, and quadruple check those pockets before riding Invertigo, I've never in my life seen more junk under a coaster than that one. Don't wear loose fitting shoes either, some rides require that loose fitting shoes are removed. If you wear glasses, wear your contacts instead so you won't worry about losing your glasses. Bring sunblock anyway, and apply it in the car before entering the park. If it's sunny, regardless of the temperature, you will get burnt. The point is to have little to no loose articles, they are a pain and get in the way of riding time.
  17. You took the words right out of my mouth. The few times I've been on a stand up coaster, I've come off with extremely sore calves. Doesn't make for a great experience trying to walk around a park.
  18. I love "Material Girl" by Madonna. It was my favorite song as a child, and it was the song that first got me to love music. So my mom would turn up the song whenever she heard it. Then I hear it played at a park I've been visiting for 12 years, and the nostalgia I feel can't be put into words.
  19. I retract my previous statements in the rumor thread. (I stated in a somewhat abrupt way that I doubted that this had ever happened, and I now feel as if I look like a moron.) The bottom of my shoe doesn't taste very good.
  20. I tried that.. I got so excited I couldn't sleep.
  21. I dated a guy who, when I asked him if he liked KI, said that he doesn't like heights or anything that goes upside down.. I was like, wow you just knocked out all my favorites in one shot..
  22. IMO Firehawk doesn't classify as an extreme terror ride. It's more exhilarating than anything else. If they wanted a ride that really scares some people, they should have featured Drop Tower and Slingshot.
  23. You might be a KI addict if you download songs you heard at the park, burn them onto a CD, and jam to it while you're driving. You might be a KI addict if you're at Cedar Point, see Maxair, and automatically think "Delirium!" You might be a KI addict if you no longer jump and get wide-eyed at the sound of the FOF launch. Guilty, guilty, and guilty.
