If there was going to be something big for next year, I would start looking after the 4th of July weekend for clues. Seems in the past that's when visible signs of some sort of construction start showing.

I wonder if anyone was lost their lunch yet while riding WS. That would a shower I would not want. I sure hope the queue is well covered.

Maybe a new coaster, or the refit of SOB. Fingers crossed.

Only B&M I could see being built for 2012 are overseas. All the NA coasters I can find for next year are other manf's. He was heading into Indiana, If it was going overseas he wouldn't be driving from Batavia to Indiana through KY, more 275N in OH to 71N. I forget the trucking company name, but it said Cincinnati, Oh.

I was driving 275N from KY to IN and I saw this truck. It was getting off at the Route 1 exit (not sure if he was taking a pit stop, or if his true direction). Any idea what coaster this is or where it's going? Wasn't sure what forum to put this in.

It's an old Arrow, what more can you expect. I rode Vortex and I felt the ride was going to fall apart. As much as I have really enjoyed Vortex and Flight deck over the years, I feel their end is near. I would say Vortex before FD. So enjoy them (if you can lol) while they are still here.

All 4 WindSeekers are prototypes. These have not been built before. It's true that CW opened their WS first, however they did stop operation because something wasn't right. They're learning a lot about these rides already. When KI or Cedar Point or even Knotts does their full fledged testing they may find an issue that CW didn't realize they'd have and will have to fix. Also to remind you, KI's WindSeeker was supposed to open first, not CW. I'm just going by what the man said. I'm sure he has more insight than the GP.

Awesome report on DA. I know I was against this when it was announced, but after going through DA today, I must admit that is very impressive. Not only a nice walk but very educational. I will do this again when they replace the Dino that burned down. I can also say the employees at this attraction were really nice and informative.

Yes that is about the spot where the shielding they are installing has stopped. They have a stack of it by the railings. Enough to go all the way to the top. It's to protect the cable tracks going up the tower. This is what I'm talking about: Also another bit of info, the guy I talked to had a strong accent, so I'm guessing he is from Mondial. He said the CW WS is the prototype ride, all the rest were built from it.

***Update on WindSeeker**** Talked with one of the workers today on WindSeeker. Just to let you know, the ride is not even testing yet. They are still installing parts on the ride. He said a bunch of minor stuff. He did say that the CW WindSeeker is done and running. The reason you see the gondola go up and down is they are using it as a lift to install parts. So WS is not even done with construction at KI. Of course he did not say when it would be open.

I'm hoping that it won't get busy until after 3 or 4 since most kids are in school still. I'll be up there for ERT.
