  1. ^ I Agree. The old Arrow restraints are horrible hard rubber. They really need a softer rubber on these. I'm not sure how many times I've walked away with bruised cheekbones from that ride.
  2. I just saw this on another site. kinda sad this is happening all over the world http://motherboard.vice.com/2012/3/22/never-forget-the-abandoned-waterparks-of-the-great-first-world-drought
  3. Can we just lock this thread until some real news come out? I don't think there are any more quality posts we can add to this thread until a decision is made
  4. Simple math, Width X Height +1
  5. That would be 725 + 1 You forgot the big picture. lol
  6. How about both? If you spend the money for a Giga, the Eagles would be a drop in the bucket.
  7. What cost more the electric to power this thing or the drugs to execute someone?
  8. Would you like anything else? lol
  9. That would be my birthday! lol Usually that early in the season it shouldn't be crowded.
  10. "Too Late for Goodbyes" Remember hearing it when I was younger during teen nights in the 80's.
  11. Knowing how much the Commonwealth needs money, I could see them auctioning off these rides soon, before they loose too much value.
  12. As I see it, yeah it sucks. There are rules set for safety of the rider and others. Unfortunately handicapped people are not able to do everything that non handicapped people can do. That is the reason they are classified handicapped. "Life sucks sometimes, and there is nothing you can do about it but suck it up and do something else." That comes from a person I know that is handicapped, he understands that he cannot do everything, so he does the best with what he can do.
  13. Speaking of The money pit listen to the first 25 seconds of this clip, The first 5 seconds is the ride experience. It sums up the story. Maybe Art can fix SOB. lol
  14. I believe this may help.. I'm sure they will know. http://www.visitkingsisland.com/contact-us
  15. or perhaps the building could be used as a haunt attraction later in the year???????????
  16. The guy on the right would be the supervisor, hence why his clothes are clean.
  17. At one point all the areas of KI were rough terrain and needed to be paved. If if you are talking "pavers" then yes it would be expensive. But if SOB is demolished, I could see more "family" attractions (see story posted by The Interpreter http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24866 ) being installed in this area.
  18. I'm sure The Crypt will be there next year, just SBNO.
