Also, I agree that teens can be about rough when unsuprivised, and I even admit that some of my friends are, but when they are, I always remind them that we are in a family park. I kind of take offense to that. It's just one of those stereotypes that everyone believes.

Over the summer I usually go on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Those are not crowded at all.

Nah I was just messing around. You can see Cedar Point from it though. and we're keeping a car on the mainland so we can drive over once we get off.

Our housing situation is a bit complicated. We are staying on Put-In-Bay in the campground (we have a motorhome). We're catching the first ferries over to the mainland (6:00), with Cedar Point within pretty much walking distance.

well you guys were exactly right. I went today for 3 hours and got 14 rides on DB and a ride on The Beast in.

I was never in the station for DB yesterday.

I have not. I kept telling my dad that I wanted to ride it the whole day we were there. So, he insisted that I ride Disaster Transport for a second time with my friend, while he rode Demon Drop with my sister, and said he would ride it later on. At the end of the night, he decided to ride Mantis with my sisters. They got off and said it was horrible.

Perfect! I'm going there this summer too, and I will ride that.

Exactly. It's amazing. And how fast does Slingshot go? On the rides section of KICentral.com it says 100mph, making it the fastest ride in the park.

Thanks Terpy! I will add Wildcat to the must ride list. However, I did ride Blue Streak last time I went (third grade), and I remember it being the most bumpy ride ever. I do not think that I can bring myslef to ride it. Also, do you think I could get them all (must ride) done in two weekdays?

Okay, so I am going on a trip to Cedar Point this year. It will last two days in length. I have conducted two lists. One is of the rides I must ride, and the other is one for rides that are a fun option, but are not priorities. I have been to that stadium. I have to say that I like it a lot, and I have been to many ballparks. Coors, Fenway, Wrigley, US Cellular, Great American, Riverfront, Three Rivers, PNC, just to name a few. Not to mention the rest of the city. Did you go up in the arch? I loved that.

Okay, so I decided to go today, right after school. My sister had to get her pass processed, so I decided to tag along for 30 minutes of rides. I had a baseball game at 6 so I had to leave at 4:30. Diamondback is closed, so we look at other rides, all of which have too long of rides. We finally make it around to The Beast, hoping for the line to be short because we only had 10 minutes left. Turns out they were only running one train, each circuit being 5-6 minutes. Too long. I called my mom just to make sure it wasn't going to rain any more, and she said it wasn't. So, right as we are leaving, Diamondback starts running. Depressing, because I was hoping to gain on my friend (we're racing to 100 rides). So we leave, and get some Arby's on the way home. Right when I get home at 5, my dad calls. My game is cancelled! You don't even know the anger going on inside my mind!

have to agree with gigacoaster. I wasn't even tall enough for raptor or mantis when I went, and Maverick wasn't open yet. And I thought MF and TTD were amazing. Great park.

Just to point this out, the percentages on the poll are off. If there were 16 total votes and 7 were for Kings Island, it wouldn't be more than 50%. Hmm....

Do you travel around to amusement parks a lot? Sometimes. Being old helps, too... Lucky. My parents do not admire rollercoasters and thrill rides as my friends and I do. Shame.

I expect Kings Island to end up on top, but I just wanted to see if there are any other really good parks out there.
