  1. Yeah, the drop is the most intense drop probably out of any other ride I've ridden. I swear, if they don't make another (good) woodie after (if) they take out SoB, I will consider not even getting a pass in the future.
  2. I'm 13 and male. I love it. It just... is really tall and fast. Sounds fun, right? I will admit, It brings roughness, but none that will EVER keep me from riding!!!!!!!!
  3. Diamondback Beast Son of Beast Flight of Fear Vortex Flight Deck Adventure Express Racer Backlot Stunt Coaster Firehawk Fairly Odd Coaster Runaway Reptar Invertigo
  4. If KI wanted to build an addition that added to the park's coaster count and not spend as much as a bigger coaster then I'd agree. If you wanted to build something that would be a capacity nightmare and have long, slow-moving lines through the day all day then I'd also agree. Kings Island, quite honestly, already has issues with capacity on many of their rides so I'm not sure that would be the way to go, coaster-wise anyway. Having said that, I'd agree with many others that the park needs a B&M invert. Some might say "well, the park has Invertigo", but look at Cedar Point. They have both Raptor and Wicked Twister, so this isn't unprecedented by a CF park. Ok we have 2 vekoma inverts Invertigo, and runaway reptar. And 3 Vekoma rides overall. IMO, thats 3 too many. B&M and Intamin all the way!
  5. thats what I was thinking, when I was at Cedar Point, maverick was never down and it was the best one in the park, and the lines moved really quickly. EDIT: ok it was down for like 20 minutes because of rain but we were inside and we all sang happy birthday to this random girl. when were you there?
  6. I think that this has already been mentioned, but oh well. I really think that this would be neat. As much as I don't like the company, I think that we should buy products from Vekoma. No, not a ride, but a swinging suspended train for Flight Deck. http://www.vekoma.com/index.php?option=com...3&Itemid=11 The trains can be fitted onto suspended coaster tracks. That would be awesome.
  7. Hey we were there at the same time I think. I was there on the 1st, 2nd, and 5th.
  8. Anyone notice anything odd about the back of the AE card?

    The Beast

I love The Beast. As I do with all other wooden coasters for the most part, I experience minor pain, but not even close to enough to keep me from riding.
  10. What's so great about it? I feel the same headbanging as I do in any other seat.
  11. Many people have said that 5-1 was the best seat, so I rode there last Wednesday. I honestly didn't see it as anything special. I still prefer 1-1. What about you guys?
  12. 1. No 2. No 3. Yes 4. Yes Simple enough
  13. I have 50 rides on Diamondback so far.
  14. I was referring to how they can't even get the height of their own rides right when other people can.
  15. If they don't reprogram it to make it a better ride, then they can take it out for all I care. PS: Coaster Kid, your ride list is ridiculous
  16. Exactly. Then we could make it taller than Griffon and say: The tallest, fastest, and meanest floorless dive machine ever to strike the world.
  17. I know that there isn't one inside the park, but there's one extremely close (5-10 minutes away) on Tylersville Road. Oops, someone already wrote that.
  18. Vortex: 48 feet tall The Crypt: 0 feet tall Epic Fail
  19. ^But then again, Wicked Twister is a far better ride than Invertigo, IMO.
  20. Firehawk, Diamondback, and Backlot Stnunt Coaster all assign seats.
  21. Delirium does not even come close to going upside down.
  22. Yeah, Manta does look pretty awesome. Overall, from what I've ridden, Vekoma is not that great of a manufacturer compared to other rides.
