There was a topic on KIC last summer where the poster was trying to connect with a female park employee in one of the shops. It turned creepy very fast. It was entertaining. Ah, love.

Impossible? Or are you talking in terms of distance? -
A Day at IDORA PARK
TTD-120-420 replied to Oldiesmann's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Why does it seem like most of these small parks I read about go up in flames? Is it that hard to keep things from catching fire? (Serious question... I'm not an electrician) -
By the time Coasterfanatic2012 and I leave, most places are closed. We usually stop at a Speedway and get a frozen drink (Mix of blue and red for me) and I usually get a filled stick donut. I usually get a Arnold Palmer, too, but that's not limited to just Kings Island days.

I've seen that, also. I thought it was an inside joke or something I missed!

Disney Fastpass+ at Walt Disney World

I hate laying around on vacation, too. I was specifically talking about the beforehand preparation. Rank sheets and the whole new Magic Band thing is just too much for me. -

I've never been, but going to Disney seems like a freaking chore. Vacation is supposed to be fun and relaxing. It's cool that you guys "have/had it down to a science," but if it takes that much planning and quantum physics and knowing the secret to cold fusion then I'd rather use my time at Universal. -

If you are worried about price of admission, PM me during the summer. -
Speaking of which, if the webcam got messed up due to weather or something, do the elevators work in the off-season, or does someone have to climb up all those stairs? I imagine the latter, but figured I'd ask.

Haha, it was supposed to be "ship." Whoops.
-
If it is anything like Griffon, the wheel components swivel and pivot 360 degrees. It was probably easier to ship them sideways.

Cedar Point Planning Something Big?

We all know CP wants to add a dark ride. We just don't know where and when it is coming... well I'm sure somebody here knows. -
How long does Intamin have left?
TTD-120-420 replied to Doge's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
They do more than coasters. Falcon's Fury (INTAMIN Drop Tower) will open this year and they also had their hand in making the new Harry Potter train and parts of the coaster for the new Diagon Alley at Universal Orlando. -

Does that include plane tickets or did you drive? -
What happened? Got paged and ruined the joke.

Uh, guys, the rides are outside. It rains outside.

I remember my mom trying to get me on the speed slides for the first time. I was probably 5 years old. The tallest one was only around 70 feet, but to me as a 5 year old it could have been Mount Everest. We got to the top and I cried my eyes out. Two minutes later, I was right back in line.
