It is a promotion. Many times in-between innings, mascots and cheerleaders throw out free hot dogs, t-shirts, etc... I know I have been to a Reds game where they shoot foiled hotdogs into the stands from an air cannon. If it was a purchased hotdog it would come from an aisle vender, not from a mascot.

If any significant money is spent on a water ride, I would prefer a "Journey to Atlantis" type ride. That ride was awesome.

That documentary also has little to no impact on the Busch Gardens branded parks. Very few members of the general public realize Busch Gardens and SeaWorld are under the same company. -
Have you seen the former dark ride that was at Hard Rock Park? Now that was trippy!

I wonder, with today's technology, if they could accomplish the inversion.

This video was released earlier today showing plans for something coming in 2014. (Really makes you appreciate Don, doesn't it?) While Water Country is getting that next summer, there is something bigger planned for 2015. A few weeks ago, BGW filed a permit for something 156 feet tall. Sight balloons were used in Festa Italia in early August, and soil tests were conducted during Hallowscream. For more info, go here: http://bgwfans.com/2013/festa-italia-expansion/ Whatever these attractions are I'm excited for something new to look at every day. -
^I see you've been posting on KI's Facebook?

Good grief! They rename and repaint one ride, and you guys want them to start constructing buildings and castles around other rides? This isn't Islands Of Adventure! ::Raises hand:: I probably will. Not on purpose, but it will happen. Just leaving this here. are the rails on The Vortex not orange?? They are and some of Flying Ace Aerial Chase is also orange, but I wouldn't say that is the primary color on either ride. This color scheme is amazing, but, as a Longhorn fan, I'm kind of biased.

Finally getting an orange ride. This will look good.

^I love Phoenix. My last ride of the season was on Mean Streak. My friend and I had the last train all to ourselves and had a nice, trimless ride. It wasn't my choice; Maverick was closed all night.

I wouldn't mind if they did lighting like this: Pictures from this coasterbuzz thread: http://coasterbuzz.com/Forums/Topic/heide-park--bm-wingcoaster-2014-looks-interesting/4

GM of Cedar Point, John Hildebrandt, sat down with the Sandusky Register to talk about his many, many years in the park. He will be retiring at the end of the year. http://new.livestream.com/tandemmedianetwork/events/2496596/videos/33119559 http://new.livestream.com/tandemmedianetwork/events/2496596/videos/33120099 http://new.livestream.com/tandemmedianetwork/events/2496596/videos/33120759

"Centurion" name registered by Cedar Fair

But "Amusement Dark" is a fantastic name? I never said that was a good name. What did that have to do with anything? -

Hopefully no park gets that name. It's awful. -
If I was a guest during these days, I would rather get a slip of paper that could be redeemed for a bobble head when I exit. Having to carry that thing around all day is obnoxious.
