  1. It is possible. Last summer I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and I couldn't believe how empty the park was. I don't remember exactly how long I waited but I know I walked on Magnum, had a 10 minute wait for TTD, and only 20 minutes for MF. I think Wicked Twister was only a 5 mintue wait. This is not taking into consideration ride times, but it is definately attainable. Of course a person would have to walk briskly to each ride. Considering Magnum and TTD are close it makes is a little easier. Obviously it all depends on when someone visits CP too. I was fortunate when I went.
  2. Thanks for sharing everything with us!
  3. You really can't compare these two videos. The second video wasn't even the full ride cycle.
  4. Case in point why I don't ride attractions that aren't at amusement parks!
  5. Wh-wh-wh-wh- what's wrong with people? In all seriousness though, I do feel bad for the employee and glad they were kicked out and hope she is all right.
  6. While looking on their site at the Tornado slide I noticed this and thought it was funny: http://www.proslide.com/rides_01.php
  7. I agree. Although I've only been on ID and FD, I think ID is more relaxed while FD is a fun, semi-intense ride.
  8. Thanks for the information. 15 rides!! I'm going to KD the first week of August and am really looking forward to my trip and am hoping to be able to get many rides in on all the coasters.
  9. This happened to me a few years back. I thought it would be a good idea to trust teh desginers that the roof was far away that you wouldnt hit it but I was wrong. My finger slammed into some thing in there wheater it was a maintenacne light or the roof I do not know but it stung for a few minutes and was gone by the time I walked out of the exit. It's fortnuate that nothing more happened to your hand.
  10. I've been very impressed with the staff this year. They are very friendly and overall helpful. I'm glad they helped look for your keys, and that they eventually found them!
  11. I absolutely agree that it does take longer, but when a person states that they are only being paired up with people that are single riders and they are in fact in a "Single Rider Line" I thought it was pretty funny.
  12. Riding in the front seat of TTD is pretty amazing. Don't forget about Maverick; the back seat is really intense.
  13. In Diamonback's SRL Monday, a group of 5 people were getting mad because it was taking too long and then a woman from the group said: "There only taking people from our line if there's a single rider. This will take longer." Seriously!?
  14. I was thinking it had to do with the heat of the weekend. I noticed a few people in line that looked like they were going to pass out. If they were waiting in the heat of the sun outside of the shade and misters, I can only imagine how long it would have taken for people to pass out.
  15. It shows some of the long hours that crews put in for an amusement park ride. Incredible.
  16. Ever wonder what challenges construction crews and engineers were faced with while building and testing Kingda Ka? This 4 part video from National Geographic does a great job showing what happened during these phases as well as the very slow process of a pull through (and the wonderful measuring they did). Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
  17. I've noticed that the park is very clean this year, granted it's early in the year, but I'm sure it will continue to be. The employees seem friendly and capacity, for the most part, is good. If anyone works on Invertigo, hats off for quick load times so far. Thanks for making this topic Giga.
  18. Cormaster I'm glad you both enjoyed your day. When I rode Diamondback yesterday, the trains were shaking quite a bit, and I'm not sure what trains I was on, but wasn't sure if anyone nitced the same thing?
  19. Thanks for sharing your trip and pictures with us. I have to agree with you that the employees are very nice and friendly. I went yesterday with my cousins and everyone was very nice and the park was very clean.
  20. This is all I'm going to say, and it's really not worth commenting on, but trying to compare a mode of transportation to a season pass to an amusement park doens't even make sense, especially when all it takes is a few minutes at Guest Relations to get an issue resolved. Sorry for the reply, but I thought I should defend myself.
  21. One thing that I noticed that may be new is a test seat for Mantis.
  22. The trim looks to be official from kdfansite.com:
