Diamondback FOF

Personally, I thought the food was much better this past year. I also think that Stunt Crew Grill's bacon cheddarburger is wonderful, and I don't know of anywhere else outside of KI besides Chick-Fil-A that you can get those delicious waffle fries. One thing that has kept me from being annoyed with food and drink prices is to always get an all day drink wristband, and also to remember that Kings Island is a park that I cherish. Buying the high priced food directly benefits the park and makes sure that it stays open and successful. Eating in the parking lot picnic grove is, in some ways, like turning your back on Kings Island. As far as there not being anything REALLY good at the park to eat, I find the LaRosa's pepperoni pizza quite delicious (sp?). Also, I like Skyline coneys with some fries. And the Chick-Fil-A waffle fries are really, REALLY good. For drinks, I usually get water in my souvenir (sp?) cup and then get it filled up once, only for dinner.

Well one day, I heard that Rivertown was getting a dive coaster. And then I heard that it changed and we were getting a hyper coaster

I just voter and The Beast is up, 59% to 40%. I find it very surprising there have only been 243 votes though. GO BEAST!!

I would say definitely take three days (two in the main park, and one in the waterpark). On the day you visit the waterpark, you can take time in the main park too. With the time you are visiting, the park will be pretty crowded. Hope this helps and hope you have an exciting trip

I ride everything with hands down. But, I did ride The Beast with my hands up once last year!

I have a volleyball tournament that day. But, I am planning on going to KI until about 11-ish and then leaving for volleyball (after I ride Diamondback once ).

The top 12 bidders have raised a total of $29,001. That's just amazing: $29,001. Great job to them, but of course, I applaude everyone who is bidding on Diamondback's first rides and helping this great cause!

Where do you work at Kings Island?

Well, let's justg hope something good happens to the company, whether it is sold or not. It would be a shame for such a large company to go under and all or some of the parks be closed. As I have not been to a Six Flags park and I really would like to take a few days with my family and go to one of the parks in the next couple of years!

I know this has been talked about before, but has it been clarified yet if there will be ERT on Opening Day?

Does this mean Six Flags could end up like Hard Rock Park and even be closed some? Then (at least part of) Six Flags may be sold to other companies?

An hour after testing ended and it started raining, the sun is once again shining up at the Island. It is strange how quickly the weather conditions can change.

It has finally started raining up at Kings Island, and on the webcam I can see the middle and left train are in the storage shed, but I can't tell if the third train is in the shed. Edit: Just got another shot of the webcam and it appears the third train is in the shed.

Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad (I think) Yeah, that's the longest for me too. Longest roller coaster, The Beast. Thanks! I thought that was it but I wasn't sure.

I would have to say the Train (I forget its official name) at Kings Island. After that would be The Beast

That could be part of it but the chemicals within the water to keep it clean is what eat away at backlot's track and hence the removal. I promise it had nothing to do with the pumps not working in such. So what I'm saying with Diamondback is that chemicals must be watched carefully in order to insure the track being kept in top shape. It's definitely possible to keep it in great shape and I'm sure B&M engineers much better track than premier but still care will need to be taken. the water from backlot's splashdown never touched the track rather than a few drops here and there. Indeed water actually did.. the second launch before the tunnel.. you know.. where they pretty much sprayed you down and you were in a mini WWC for a few seconds ... Wait, wait, wait! There used to be water at the second launch?! I know there is fire but I didn't know of any water. Edit: Did I do the quotes in this post correctly?

Kings Island just got a $22 million dollar rollercoaster. Also, look at the way the economy is. IMO it will be a few years before we get another large coaster. And I would like to get a launched, floorless, or suspended coaster first because dive coasters are 'shorter' rides.
