I would say Drop Tower, that is the only ride I get really nervous on. I wouldn't say I am the only one, if you watch everyone sitting waiting for the ride to head up the tower just watch all the nervous energy the riders expend with their legs all moving and kicking in and out!

I'm wondering what the wood is that is slanted at the far right center of the frame. Not sure but it looks like they are adding a roof to it this morning.

They really were and I miss them so much! I do believe they were located where the seating behind Chick-fil-a is now.

Oh how much I miss KCKC! Just the thought of moving through the treetops and riding it together with my family, then we always tried to "guess" which side they were going to have us go down as we pleaded with the ride op at the top of the drop to try and get our "guess" to be the right one! Good times!

So is it just me or does that look a lot like the strange picture that KI posted and no one knew what the drawing or outline was refering too? I am at work right now and cannot go back and check as those photos won't load for me. If someone can compaire the two that would be great. Edit: I was able to go back and check but cannot post the two images as of yet, but it looks as if the picture on the Facebook page posted on National Red Day is a variation of this layout or expansion on the maps.

For crying out loud, the parents didn't do any active parenting and test the cheese before they let their child get their hands on it.

So funny I had the exact same experience in 1983 when I was 8, and I didn't ride another coster until the second season of Vortex, a pretty big jump from Beastie to Vortex!

So is my thinking on this correct? They are suing on a Patient because a press release from Mondial used the "StarFlyer" name? At least that is what I got from the article.

Just saying as the park would state it. You know like Diamondback they count all the drops even the one on the break run on the end of the ride that really in my mind shouldn't count.

Well I said over 300 Feet because the other two that were announced were 301 feet, so that is over 300. They also said taller than Diamondback so that fits right in that same range.

You don't think a ride that stands over 300 feet in the air will change the skyline? (the 300 feet number comes from the other two announced today!) Edit: that stands over 300 feet from the ground, not in the air. Thought I should add this, sounds like 300 feet in the air means it is floating in the air haha.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a big mural of Snoopy drawn on it. Yeah that might be a little too much!

I like how the top of the one at Knott's has a nice big K on the top. Wonder if Kings Island's will have anything like that or will it look like the one at Wonderland?

Hands Up on almost every ride for me! Just on that pesky Drop Tower that I can't seem to let go of the restraint!

and look at how many people in that photo are doing one of my very few pet peeves; sitting on the rails!

This is why I always ride on the right side, being 6'4" tall with almost a 7' wingspan will cause one to think carefully how a ride is laid out. My first ride on The Beast was on the Left side and I rode the last half of the ride with hands down!

Angie, Just going through this trip report and remember that people were saying they didn't want to post reports anymore. Mainly because no one comments on them so what is the point? Well I decided after reading this for the third time I would go ahead and at least post a thank you for posting; and letting us who can't get out to the parks as much as we like to live through other people's reports!
