Seriously all three wooden coasters beat out any wood at Ki and CP, I havent been to Indiana Beach so i don't know about theirs. save 11 bucks after three is a really good deal, most of the time the lines for the coasters are pretty short so you can get multiple rides in a few hours.

HW is only 10 dollars more than getting into Soak City at Cedar Point, plus you get three of the best wooden coasters around, some fun flats and the best water park around. As far as im concerned 39.99 is a steal!

If you think about it paying 39.95 that includes free parking, sunscreen, pop... If you buy a 32.99 at KI, you have to pay 10 bucks to park, already you are at 42.99, then you buy a pop at 3.75, and you know you will probably buy more throughout the day. Not to mention you can discount on the HW admission. I went to HW for the first time in August 2007, loved it so much went back again a week later. Lake Rudolph is one of the best campgrounds in the country. The state park thats down the road is nice too! I have gone twice in the past two summers, once so far this summer, but may not get to go again cuz we are saving for our Disney trip!

To me The Beast is average during the day, and pretty good at night, it isnt haunted either. I have been on better though. Does anyone else agree with me that it needs different trains?

No not at all, I wouldnt put someone i hate on that ride, it is by far the worst wooden coaster i have been on. Not only is it painful, it is also boring, and very uneventful (besides the constant bashing of your entire upper body)

That happned to me two weeks ago, i didnt even realize i had rivets. They let me on Bondi Pipeline but not the Awesome Twister. One thing i dont like about the park is you have to walk and walk and walk to get to the attractions. I mean you get off the Snowy River Rampage and have to walk up a flight of stairs lol! Does anyone else agree that the stuff they have on the floor while waiting for slides hurt yor feet?

Yeha Disney is much cheaper, i should know i got married there lol! Yeah to quote the head man Dick Kinzel "People gotta eat." So they may as well make you pay outrageous prices!

I love the atmosphere, i loved it when Paramount owned it, its still a pretty nice park, but I do not like how Ceder Fair runs things Oh yeah that 230 ft snake too...

Now i am not condoning the employees treating people bad. But I worked at Cedar Point in 2006 and we had to deal with very stupid people everyday, some of the questions i got at the entrance of my ride were unbelieveable! I swear to you someone asked me if it was ok for their girlfriend (who was 5 month pregnant) if it was ok for them to ride. on top of that, we were severely underpaid, worked 12-14 hrs a day (sometimes more) and didnt get paid any overtime. I tried to be as nice as possible, and i have never yelled at anyone, but sometimes you just cant be nice. Holiday World does everything in their power to make people feel at home! I do agree with what you are saying though.

Does that gate lead to the access roads? I cant remember. The reason i bring it up is Cedar Fair is known to just rip out trees, flowers, etc. for rides... Just look at Cedar Point...

Im talking about right by The Beast entrance bulding, add some sort of scenery, not a tree to interfere with db, just something.

What annoys me... -Lack of theming anymore... -Stupid names for the rides! Flight Deck?? Backlot Stunt Coaster?? And the best...Drop Tower!!!! Lame!! -Tiny trains on SOB, or better yet, why is it still standing? -Lack of rule enforcement! -$3.75 for a Coke, 7 and change for a beer, 6 ucks for some fried dough and powdered sugar but its like that at any corporate park. -Games people, either they are loud and obnoxious, or they hate their lives... -Flight of Fear mid course brake. -The Beast -I dont know if anyone would agree, the me hear your imput on this one...I leave Ki feeling extremely dirty, i dont feel the same way after leaving any other park i have been at. -Finally The Beast entrance plaza, before this year there were some trees, now they dont exist, i know DB is there but why not plant something small?

darn kids lol! Yeah some people are just ridiculous! I know when i was a teenager i never acted like that! I think the worst is when they decide they are gonna spit while on the ride... I was at the park thursday and was walking down coney mall towards AE and the games guy at the basketball game was being really annoying on the mic and i started yelling like him and he stopped, looked at me and said your cool and shut up! I know they are supposed to get people to play but geez, this kid was annoying! Dont let stupid people get ya down, they are everywhere you go!

When i worked at Cedar Point we still had to check the person with a wristband, that really made parents angry...I wonder if KI does it this way...

I have been on many different wooden coasters... IMO SOB is the worst one have ridden. Nothing is fun about it. When it had the loop it was just ok. Sure its the tallest and fastest, but that does not translate into fun! It beats the living hell out of you! If any of you have the means drive to Holiday World and ride theirs. The Voyage beats the hell out of ya but it is the most insane thing i have ever ridden. I do not wanna see any coaster torn down, but there is just too much going against this ride... Think of what KI could do in the space that would be freed up... How about a dueling GCI? Gravity Group? Anything they would put in would be an upgrade to SOB.

One train op on everything reminds me of the SFWoA days!!! I remember going on a Saturday in July and Batman, Villain, and X-Flight all only had one train, yet Double Loop was running two, go figure... I also remember last year at KI it was in the middle of summer and it had just stormed, after it cleared every ride went down to one train! No one really left the park either. SOB runs slow with two trains! Yet it ran with one, talk about having time to kill.

Kings Island is getting more and more trashy... I am not saying everyone from SW Ohio and Northern Kentucky is "trash." And i am sure there are many nice people who attend, but that is what KI draws, many locals. They return year after year and they feel the own the place and can do whatever they want. You also get locals who are employed there. "My friend starts explaining to one lady what happened, and RUDELY asked him why a 37, and 42 year old felt threatened by a group of kids." I am 22 years old, I would feel threatened by a group of kids there is no telling what they will do these days! I would not feel threatened if i was with a group of my friends though and i would not allow them to cut in line.

I know must people do not go to parks for just food, im just stating that the prices are far lower at Holiday World. True, you cant ride Diamondback at HW and so on and so forth. But come on The Beast is overly-trimmed, boring and downright painful. LaRosa's is better outside of KI, as are most things they serve!
