  1. The new restraints don't seem to be all that new. New for an inverted coaster, yes, but I'm pretty sure those are used on B&M's wing coasters. Also, this will tie for first for inversions on an invert, and also has the most inversions of any roller coaster in Ohio.
  2. Are those... lap bars? Seriously, I can't tell. Stream is too blurry.
  3. I think KIC (as well as the stream) is taking a dump.
  4. If the stickers were suddenly removed and not peeled off, then that may be an indication of a retheme. Also, if Flight Deck's queue sign is gone, it means nothing, as Club Blood uses its sign post and part of its queue line. Flight Deck's queue line is redirected through its exit.
  5. Darn, if only they were good through next summer! My family is planning a WDW trip then, would be a perfect time to go to SeaWorld.
  6. I kinda feel like we should 100% avoid posting pics of CSF here. Most likely if you're not on their property, you're in an unsafe location on the road. I don't know how it's all set up there, though.
  7. Candy? I'd say... Skittles? Or Hershey's Cookies & Cream. Desert? I'm partial to the Gobi.
  8. As far as coasters: 1. Magnum 2. Maverick 3. Millennium Force 4. Gatekeeper 5. Blue Streak 6. Corkscrew 7. Iron Dragon 8. Gemini 9. Mine Ride 10. Raptor 11. Mantis (surprisingly comfortable... and I'm male, too!) 12. Top Thrill Dragster 13. Mean Streak Did not ride: Wicked Twister, Jr. Gemini, Woodstock Express Just because a coaster is lower on the list doesn't mean it was bad. These are all good rides. Yes, even Mean Streak. I'm not even sure on this list.
  9. I hate you guys, I need to sleep but this thread is more important!
  10. Maybe if the brakes didn't almost stop you (IIRC), lap bars would be possible. Maybe we should have Terpy weigh in though.
  11. Terms like "hyper," "giga," and "strata" only seem to apply to full circuit coasters. Superman: Escape from Krypton doesn't seem to be considered a launched, not-full-circuit giga/stratacoaster. I'd assume the same is true for similar rides.
  12. The DNS servers AT&T uses seem to have not registered the change. Using Google's servers right now.
  13. Thanks to Google Images letting me search for a specific picture, I was able to easily trace its origin: http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=953068 Edit: And he removed it.
  14. I think we can assume that there was no green Intamin track, until green Intamin track shows up elsewhere. But why worry about it? Also, welcome to KIC!
  15. If that's a new main Cedar Point logo... Oh my, we may see the original KI logo (or one similar to it) return. It's probably for a new attraction or shirt though.
  16. Construction for Codename Banshee started much earlier than construction for The Beast. Edit: Codename Banshee actually sounds like a nice name for a new ride.
  17. Couldn't KI host Spirit Song in one of the grassy areas near Soak City? People probably wouldn't care much.
  18. It will be the first coaster to come to Kings Island in 2013. I wouldn't be surprised if that's all it does first.
  19. New strollers for 2014 confirmed! DB96, not being serious here.
  20. Terp, I realize that. But 2009 it was rivertown, 2010 it was Planet Snoopy, 2011 it was coney mall, 2012 was Soak City (renovating) 2013 Rivertown (non ride) and 2014/15?? is Action Zone. I just thought I would throw it out there thats all.Oktoberfest? International Street? Parking Lot? Tower Gardens? Picnic Grove?
  21. I think the only thing we can truly rule out is any sort of wooden coaster. Everything else is fair game (with restrictions of course, like height).
  22. Not everyone pays for unlimited texting. This seems like a good idea. I'd love to participate.
