  1. I don't know, I think a certain wooden roller coaster in Planet Snoopy would be fine with the name "Beastie."
  2. I think I've figured out what's going in. It's an inverted looping launched flying wooden giga coaster made by Intamin with green steel frames for the inversions with Diamondback-style trains and themed to Scooby-Doo.
  3. Hope you don't mind if I hijack your thread, McSalsa! I assume not, because the above poster did the same thing on page 1. Anyway, my parents originally wanted to take me to the House of Mouse, but we figured that we should put that off for next year, when I graduate. So, instead of that, and instead of going to KI as not much has changed from last year (aside from a massive wooden structure coming down, but it's not like I would have been able to ride it if it was left standing), and probably also skipping HW this year (not because of the drama, but the cost), we plan on going to CP. Most likely, only three of us will be going. Last time we went (in 2007, and I wish we had gone to GL... granted, I had no clue that park existed back then), we stayed at Castaway Bay, and while it was fun, it was expensive. We also want to go to Soak City this time. Also, we went to the park for one day, and we missed a bunch, including Space Spiral, Disaster Transport, Wildcat, Mean Streak, Blue Streak, and Maverick. Good thing half of those are still there currently (things could always change...). This time, I think we're going to go for two days. We have no Platinum Passes, so in order to get ERT, we must stay at a CP hotel. Breakers is, at least for me, very attractive not only due to its location and view, but also because of its historical significance. Staying at Breakers also gives us the benefit of not having to buy a locker. Sandcastle Suites also would be a good option here. Breakers Express seems a little far away. My parents would insist on getting a locker instead of walking back to the hotel. Lighthouse Point looks nice, but more expensive than the first three options. All of these options do seem to stay under the $600 that Platinum Passes would cost for us- which doesn't include lodging. Personally, I'm biased towards Breakers myself, although if we do get Platinum Passes I won't be complaining! So does anyone have any suggestions for what we should do?
  4. I think we can all agree on one thing though: Son of Beast was very rough. Oops, I shouldn't have mentioned that...
  5. Winterfest is returning, and they will be displaying that green Intamin track that was traveling down I-71 during it.
  6. I'm sure that triangle footing pretty much confirms a steel coaster of some sort. I just don't see it having any other purpose.
  7. Honestly, I want a username change, but I feel like I shouldn't ask because I already had one once. This was back in 2010 though, so maybe the admins would let it slide? In fact, I actually want to switch my username to hooky, which is actually shortened from my original username, which I still use when hooky isn't available and I can't use an underscore.
  8. Oh, I forgot to mention that it's being rebuilt with green Intamin track. Heard this from the LaRosa's lady.
  9. When I think of Looney Tunes, I think of Cartoon Network. This, however, makes me think of flags in groups of six:
  10. Son of Beast is actually being rebuilt at KD.
  11. Madagascar 3 is pretty paramount, but not completely. In other words, it's distributed by Paramount.
  12. That was the poster here saying he/she's taking it with a grain of salt. Edit: Referenced statement has since been fixed.
  13. It's generally a good idea to take anything on Screamscape with a grain of salt. Personally, I feel like this coaster will be a B&M creation sue to FUN's gravitation to said company, but I wouldn't mind an Intamin (the maintenance department might, though!).
  14. The grass could be a diversion...
  15. I had a dream last night. I was at HW, and I was walking by Voyage. I saw a Timberliner on the transfer track, and there seemed to be a line, but Voyage seemed to be closed as no one was loading. I went up to the station, and they offered me to try out a ride in one of the Timberliners. What I rode in did not look like a Timberliner, and the ride was completely different; it had inversions. My dream self thought it was fun. I think it's a sign that the Timberliners are actually going to run... eventually. Or this could have been a diversion created by my brain.
  16. Never noticed that FD's paint is already being worn away.
  17. Aquatrax? Just remember, there are diversions everywhere.
  18. It's been done. Not saying it looks bad, though.
  19. So I decided to check Screamscape for whatever crazy rumors are out there for Project 2014/Banshee. Noticed that it said that WindSeeker is open. Don't know if it can be used (it IS Screamscape...), but I guess it might be worth a shot. Same is said for all other parks besides Cedar Point and Knotts.
  20. That won't happen. X-Base will never get restrooms. DB96, watching the tomatoes on his way out.
  21. Yes. DB96, beating Terpy to the punch!
  22. ("Doesn't this count as 8 words?" questions Diamondback96.)
  23. That's a weird way to get around the Point. Millenium to Maverick, pass by Magnum only to come back to it.
