Okay - I'm done. I probably won't say anything else! I'll just make opinions when I've ridden something before. It's my promise.
-
I always eat outside of the park. There's plenty of good restaurants at least two miles away from the park.
-
Wow then I guess I won't post anything anymore if half the people that read my posts argue with me.
-
Two years doesn't really make a difference. And it really wouldn't make sense to take down half of it and leave half of it standing. People who are first-timers at Kings Island would say, "Look! They're building a roller coaster!"
-
Now I know what you're saying. But what I don't get is why does it take so long for firefighters to get them off the ride? I mean, 5 hours?
-
Hey, let's go on Litta Ba's Giga Coasta, right? It's not offending! Terpy you have an accent?
-
Well I don't care so much, it wouldn't freak me out. I mean, what would happen up there? You could starve - but if you're stuck up there for 1 week! I just would be afraid of the height but I would never have a panic attack.
-
People with New Jersey accents probably think that Little Bill's Giggle Coaster is a gigantic record breaking coaster (no offense to anyone who does have that accent)
-
Wow I didn't know flying coasters like that cost so much money. I thought it was a lot less. I still don't understand how a B&M could be $11 million. Is it not very tall or fast or something? Maybe it's not such a big deal.
-
Umm do those facts really matter? Well I guess the second one does; it doesn't matter what seat you're in, you could be stuck anywhere. Facing up, facing down, it could happen.

when does the cincinnati area go back to school?

TOMORROW. -
I can't even tell if I'm going to fall out of my seat because it seems so fast!
-
Hope you had a good time. But you haven't been in a year? I guess that's okay. And yea the food prices are VERY high. The food is pretty good though.
-
They need to either open it or dismantle it. One or the other. No "SBNO" or crap like that.
-
I saw a commercial on YouTube that said August 26, 2009? Is that something else they're advertising?
-
Well being corrected can be a good thing because then you learn more things! Sometimes it just gets really annoying.
-
Did it cost Kings Island to replace the loop with a hill? Because if that cost a lot, then I can only imagine how much it would cost for the whole RIDE to be dismantled.

Uhm....ok..... I just think that Diamondback will ever be able to beat Millennium in my opinion. Millennium doesn't have 5+ airtime hills but it's not meant to. It meant to just be about height, speed, and positive G-forces. Still, as of now I'm only speculating. Who knows? After I ride Diamondback it might be my favorite coaster forever. For now, though, I'm stickin' with Millie. It's all about opinions. Certain People like different elements better than others. Nobody is right. However I wholeheartedly agree with you. It is unfathomable to me how someone could like Diamondback better than Millennium Force, all factors considered. Kings Island is my home park, so I've ridden DB quite a few times. I just got back from Cedar Point a couple hours ago so my memory is fresh. Millennium Force is far, far, far superior in my book. After this visit to Cedar Point I still like MF, Maverick, Top Thrill Dragster, Magnum, and Raptor all better than DB. I think the only factor that DB edges MF in is Airtime. Speed = MF (not even close) Height/Drop = MF (not even close) Intensity = MF (airtime elements of DB are not 'intense') Theme = MF (this is closer, as neither is themed great. but MF definitely gives me much more of a futuristic/space/the unknown vibe than DB gives me a snake/western/desert feel. Especially at night.) Appearance= MF (DB just looks like another coaster at Kings Island. MF has this aura about it. Even though it is not the tallest at Cedar Point, It isn't really dwarfed by anything.) Trains/comfort = MF (This is close. I don't care for DB's seating style as I don't think it added anything to my ride experience, but the seats are very comfortable.......However MF's are the most comfortable seats I have ever been in. Also, I along with some of my friends have been hit by falling objects on DB (change, a sharpie, and my friend took a cell phone to the head) Not a big deal, but nothing like that has ever happened on MF. Smoothness = Even. (Db is ultra-smooth. but so is MF) The splashdown feature on DB is nice-looking, but does nothing on the ride unless you're in the very back seat. This is actually my least favorite feature of DB. And whoever said the turns on DB are more forceful than on MF is absolutely insane. What it comes down to is MF =Huge Drop, Relentless Speed. DB = lots of Floater Airtime. Pick Your Poison IMO... Airtime can be a neat addition to a ride with already great Speed/Height/Intensity....... but a ride like DB that is built mainly for airtime is boring when compared to World Class Coasters You're still totally wrong. It's your opinion though. But the way I've seen MF, never ridden it before, rode DB, but it looks just like a bigger Diamondback. I think DB looks smoother too. I don't know, maybe it's not.

Rank Kings Islands roller coasters from best to worst
CincyMan98 replied to zachman's topic in Kings Island
Almost everyone has the same list.... 1) Diamondback 2) Beast 3) Invertigo 4) Firehawk 5) Vortex 6) Racer 7) Backlot Stunt Coaster 8) Adventure Express Haven't ridden anything else. -
CP does?^ I guess Raptor, I did not know that!
-
That's a good point too.^ I'm really just hoping for Kings Island to not destroy SOB, even when I hate it. They're not going to build a coaster in the space of SOB right away, so that's a stupid thought. You know I was thinking why would KI even risk making a wooden coaster with a loop, the tallest drop, the tallest height, and the fastest speed? I think it's a pretty stupid idea. I mean, they're not physic, but at least have some realism in that!
-
Ya know Kings Island is looking pretty small currently

I love seeing older topics. One other topic I found on here was - "B&M Hyper For Kings Island?" and that was at least 3 years ago.

I agree totally CedarPointer! No, really, I think that's exactly what's going to happen.
