I would really hate if they used any of Firehawks old queue/entrance. I just don't see why anyone would do that. Not putting your feelings down at all FYI...Just as a company I don't see any pros for doing that. Most likely there isn't a specific reason it is still there.

Someone else has already stated that too. They said it is on most all B&Ms now. It was stated that Gigas also have this at the base of the drop (I believe). It will still be helpful to see the direction of the lift hill.

Not just more room, but a lot more attractive too! Those buildings are so ugly.

Along with that, the footers for the station are pretty obvious too. Hopefully we can start seeing these around June.

That's a significant increase in land clearing! So exciting. I still don't think that it is large enough for a Giga YET, but I haven't seen it in person. EDIT: Looking again, the shape of the land clearing does look like a Giga, but I don't think it's long enough yet.

I totally agree. With the clearing right now, no way a 300+ foot coaster would fit. Honestly, a dive would fit perfectly with the area cleared out now. Curiosu to see how it looks come late May/early June. Going along with other discussions, I also do not agree the station would be near WindSeeker. Just too crowded!

The land clearing is excited. I’m interested to see if/when the land clearing expands. The only odd thing in my eyes are that there are no teaser posters on the wall.

Cookout is great. There is a place called Culvers right beside Carowinds (literally when you pull out of the parking lot). It is a great fast food place like Cookout I always get when leaving Carowinds. I hope you have a great trip!

It's ultimately your choice. You just never know the forces/movements that will be put on your wife and child that could have negative effects much alter down the road. If it were me, I would go and watch shows, ride the train, and enjoy each others company!

I would always play it safe. I'm currently in my first year of medical school, and there is just so many things at stake. I would stick to rides with no fast motion at all. To be honest, if I were you I would only ride rides such as the train if anything. But that's a question for your physician. Not any of us. Stuff like that is not worth taking a risk on! Congratulations to you and your wife!

Not a guest but still found this funny. GMA stated Yukon Striker was the tallest, fastest, and longest coaster in the world.

My fondest memories of KI are associated with SOB. Was it bad? Probably, but nostalgia makes me love it. So many times in the 2008 season my friends and I would ride it over and over again. I always thought it was a beautiful ride. My last time on it was opening day for Diamondback. I'd do anything to ride it again. Adding to the topic, it probably could have been saved, but leaving it SBNO for 3 years probably was not kind to the structure. Also, the negative connotation to the ride would not have left either. It was most likely finically smarter to do what they did.

I didn't know it was down most of last season. Does anyone know what the problem was with it and why it couldn't be fixed?
