  1. And it is just me or do those cars seem really small. Im not that tall, but I felt snug in the car. I have friends that are taller and could barely fit.
  2. First thing we are doing is putting Scooby back in.
  3. Whoever buys it off CF when it goes backrupt I guess. When they really start to fall under I am guessing they will start trying to sell the parks.
  4. I like how they describe Kingda Ka.. Barely any info and plays it down, but at the same time Tower of Terror, which isn't technically a real coaster, is at number three with this long detailed description:
  5. Agreed, it just isnt worth it, and that is a great place for a flat ride.
  6. I cant vote, AE is not on the selection for favorite besides DB... But really Beast (What else?) Drop Zone Congo Falls, the short ride with a walk on it great on a summer day.

What would happen if lightening struck the top of the tower... Good bye Webcam! Then we put it on a lower floor of the Eiffel Tower.

How about a rotatating one? I think HW has one, put it on the Eiffel Tower.
  9. If BLST was not at KI, we would still have the antique cars and a place to relax in the park.
  10. That's because it's a fable. Legend has it an low clearance/overhang knocked the camera off. But think about it, just how many low clearances do you recall on Racer? The actual truth is, the train returned and the camera mount had failed. The camera was still in place, but had fallen to the side. Saying it was "knocked off and could have killed a Brady" sounds much more dramatic. When in fact, they still used the same camera for the on-ride filming. The more difficult piece of that shot was how the cast had to remain "staggered" in their seats. Jan and Bobby had to sit far apart. Behind them, Mrs Brady and Alice had to sit closer together. Finally, Marcia and Greg had to crouch down and close together to be seen. Pay attention the next time you watch it. Neither Cindy or Mr Brady (Robert Reed) would ride it. In actuality, Robert Reed refused just because he was typically a bitter, stubborn, obstinate man. Shaggy Thanks for clearing that up, I guess the Dippin Dots guy got interviewed by Nick when they made this. And I watched again for the seating on The Racer, I never noticed that either, they all are staggered.
  11. It always interests me when I see pictures of these. It just brings to life the harsh reality of the times. Some of those wooden coasters are pretty cool, even in death. I always imagine The Beast rotting away, trees covering it, but still present.
  12. I never knew about the camera falling off. That was interesting. Also today's filming is so different, those were actually park guests used in that film, today, they would probably rent out the park and use all extras.
  13. Why? They always seemed to be packed whenever I went to one. Maybe lose the Disney part, but close them all completly?
  14. Makes me wish that we still had PT still at KI. As for the ride, that was one of the best darkrides I have seen in awhile. The ground effect at 4:40 was kinda scary. The ending was probably the best ending of any darkride. Dbfan, who was very dissapointed with Boo Blasters in his first park visit last week.
  15. When I rode it last year, it seemed to be going almost too fast into that helix...odd.
  16. When the ride stops where it is not supposed to, in most cases it does not have the speed to get up a hill, or in this case the helix, and stops.
  17. Post count. I believe at 100 you get a second dot. Don't post for rankings Quality over Quantity.
  18. I thought Power Tower was lame. What whe need is a luanched one right next to Drop zone, Launch Zone. And it looks like Jump2 would look great in X Base, is its capacity good?
  19. It hasnt changed in awhile...
  20. Staring at a computer screen 2:00.
  21. I dont care what, but X Base needs something besides coasters.
  22. I fell off a roller coaster once...Then I woke up. When did they change disaster Transport's queue? I went last summer, and I barely saw 1/4 that queue in the video.
  23. We need an equal. Paramount had the better quality theming. While Cedar Fair stripped all the theming, but has given us some great rides.
  24. Glad to hear it turned out so great. About how long is the Forbidden Journey?
