  1. Well I'd only want to ride it when it's not pitch black as I don't really want to go upside down when I don't expect it, and I like to know what's going to happen a ride, which is why I watch as many POV's as I can of all roller coasters.
  2. For those of you who've been asking, I'm 11 years old, I've ridden Adventure Express twice, and I really liked that one, Backlot once, (It was also going to be twice but the last time I tried it I waited in a 45 minute line and got put into the second row and that freaked the heck out of me because I only like the middle seats) and I almost tried Racer after I sat down I got to nervous and broke down. Also, the main thing I'm afraid of in all of the coasters is the drops. I'm too nervous to ride Woodstock Express because of the drop that I'm a sixth and two feet of the hight. (I'm a little under six feet tall. I know, I'm pretty tall for an 11 year old)
  3. I have a fear of roller coasters and I was wondering if anybody here had any idea on how to get over it. Namely, Which coasters should I ride first at Kings Island and how to get myself onto the coaster. Thanks! (By the way sorry if I put this in the wrong forum.)
  4. They should at least fix the quality of the film a little. But the sign is really nice.
  5. Nice job. I would ride that coaster but that first hill scares the heck out of me! But I really want to try it! Though maybe I should ride The Racer first..........
  6. YES!! It'll be a coaster I can actually RIDE!!! (I'm not the greatest fan of big coasters at the moment, but I do like Racer.)
  7. 1. The chicken catapult game in Planet Snoopy (Get 2 chickens for the price of one) 2. The baseball speed throw game in Coney Mall ( Don't know the deal for this one) 3. The goblet toss game in Coney Mall (2 balls for the price of one) Those are the only ones I know of.
  8. I don't think so. But when I went back in May the line to get the tickets moved pretty darn quickly.
  9. I just got back today and sat in the spray zone. It was FREEZING! They drench you with the ice chips at the very end!
  10. Nice TR! I'm hoping to see all of the shows next time i'm there and it looks like you already beat me to the TR part. Also, welcome to KICentral.
  11. Email a moderator and they can help you real quickly.
  12. Can't say this was my first big coaster but I now remember my first coaster. It was what is now called The Great Pumpkin Coaster, and to make a long story short, I hated it. I was crying the second we went down the first hill. (Keep in mind that I was only 3, I think my brother made me go on it) Then about 4 years later, I went back, rode Woodstock Express, (then called Fairly-Odd coaster) and the same thing happened. Went up the first hill was excited on the lift, cried the whole way through. I then went over to Great Pumpkin, (then called Little Bills Giggle Coaster) and loved it. Ahhhhh, (mostly bad) memories......
  13. This thing looks awesome if you ask me. I love preforming and the drums on rock band and in real life, so this should be a dream come true for me!
  14. I love going to GWL myself. Then again, it could be because I'm 10......
  15. It would ruin the overall feel of International street in my eyes. I don't want to sit by the Fountains with a big coaster racing overhead every 5 minutes.
  16. I thought this poll up while in Kings Island. I was 10 when I rode my first coaster. Adventure Express. Thats the only coaster I've ridden so far, but it's a fun one!
  17. I'd choose a car from either The Beast, Racer, or Boo Blasters.
  18. I didn't see them when I went yesterday.
  19. Where is the game and how much does it cost?
  20. Just a quick side note I forgot to put into the TR, on the train ride, the announcer said an old slogan for the park. Instead of saying the fun and only, he said "Kings Island, where else?", which I really enjoyed seeing as I don't like puns and that's what the current slogan is.
  21. Well to be truthful, I have ridden it before, but I hadn't done it by myself before, and I was in the second row, and I've never sat that close up before on any roller coaster, so that's why I chickened out.
  22. I just got back from an eight hour trip to Kings Island and it was mostly good. I'll get to the bad part later but for now, the good part. My family got there at about 2:45 and I headed straight for Adventure Express. This was the only coaster I rode all day, but it was a good one. I also have two interesting things that happened to me during the ride. The first one happened while I was still in line, and a boy got stuck in his seat. In other words, his seatbelt got jammed and it took about ten minutes to get him out. Afterwards, they ran all the trains through empty once for I don't know what reason. The other thing that happened was during the final lift hill when I saw two guys hit the vat of lava with there hands. I didn't really think much of it. After that I went over to ride Scrambler, one of my favorite rides. I then went over to ride BBoBH without 3-D glasses, which I hadn't done before. I got a 1560. After I got my new high score I went over to the Festhaus to have a Coke and see Way Too Much T.V, which I really liked. My favorite part however, was before the show started and a man was walking around the Festhaus with a microphone and was playing a game called Name That Tv Tune where they played an instrumental theme song and a person would have to guess it. He chose me and I said that I probably won't get it right. The song started playing and I didn't know what it is, then the very nice man showed me the name of the show on a piece of paper and I won a button! Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name. Also, the show was very good. After the show I went over to do Dodgems, which I haven't done in a couple of years. When I finished with Dodgems I met up with my family on International Street where we went off to our car to have some dinner. My brothers decided to leave after that leaving just me and my parents. I went back into the park to go do Spongebob 4-D. I will never get tired of that ride. And the crowd I was with was really enthusiastic. And now it's time for the bad part. I went onto BLSC by myself, which I had never done before, ( Just for the record, I'm very young and have not ridden very many roller coasters before.) and I chickened right before the launch. I felt very ashamed and embarrassed.. Then my parents told me it was time to leave which was even more rotten but they said I could go ride the train. While I was on the train they texted me and said that we could stay till closing, which I was very happy about. After the train I went to go do Surf Dog, which is really thrilling for a kids ride. After surfing with snoopy it was nighttime so I went to go see if Snoopy's Starlight Spectacular was open and sure enough, it was! It was amazing to look at! To round out my day at Kings Island I watched the fireworks for the first time ever. For some reason, I found it lacking. Then again, I have seen the WBBN fireworks in downtown cincinnati, which is a big show. So to round this TR out, my day was pretty good except for the backlot part and I would give it 8/10.
  23. Likes puppeteering

  24. The woodstock express paint seems to me as a slight eyesore because of the bright paint. But that's probably because it used to have such dark paint.
