  1. There's nothing wrong with the username I have here. It's just that I thought it would be better if I have less KI-centered name and a broader name instead.
  2. I am now officially a member of Great Ohio Coaster Club and I certainly look forward to the experience! Will join ClubTPR tomorrow (today, actually) once I come up with a username that I like...
  3. A few more years without paint and Diamondback's lift supports might as well match the ones that are tan.
  4. Is that a bad thing? Being above 6'0 means you may get hit on the noggin quite often, oh, and a small sense of discomfort on OSTRs, so it isn't all happiness. But at the same time, it has a lot of perks.I wish the new coaster, which is a Chance attraction, had a corkscrew at the end or at least in the course. Are you kidding? Sometimes I'M jealous of short people. Especially when I see them just jump into coaster seats like on Teddy Bear and Flight of Fear like it's nothing while I have to stumble a little just to get in... And there are the minor leg-room issues with things like PTC trains, earlier Intamin trains, and the back-wheel seats of most Arrows, but once I'm in, and the ride starts, I'm happy either way. But yes, being tall does have its advantages, but I just hope I'm not TOO tall when I stop growing. 6'4" seems to be one of the first excluders when it comes to max height requirements, so I just hope I'm not anymore more than that. BeastForever, who is at least content with the fact that as the years have gone on, coaster seats have begun to accomodate larger guests. (Compare Millie's to Maverick's) BeastForever, who is glad he can at least fit into his dream coaster (Maverick) with perfect comfort and sufficient legroom.
  5. ...when you resort to reading TPR for extra activity. (To me it's really not as bad as people say, I kind of like it.)
  6. ^But hey, I'M 6'2" and only 125 pounds. MUCH more thinner than the average park guest.
  7. Hopefully this will be my first media day. On what day of the week do media days usually occur? What was it for Gatekeeper?

    The Bat

And yes, Firehawk to SOME extent.
  9. They look very sleek and comfortable. I've yet to experience a Morgan coaster but I have heard some good things about Phantom's Revenge's restraints. Is this true anyone?

    The Bat

The Bat, The Bat, Scooby's Ghoster Coaster, Invertigo, Flying Ace, and now Banshee. Oh my KI has certainly had a long history with "hanging" coasters.
  11. No rides will be removed for the 2014 season. Slingshot, along with several other attractions, will not be removed at any time in the forseeable future: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/28216-chopping-block/?hl=%2Bchopping+%2Bblock (Post #4)
  12. Many would argue that some of B&M's recent coasters aren't maintained by their respective company as well as they could be. (Diamondback, Gatekeeper etc.). But yes, I agree that Lighting Run does "look" more fun than many forceless B&M's nonetheless... EDIT: Keyword "look", I'll find out for sure next summer...
  13. I too am amazed at the kind of ride they're getting considering how much money will be going into it. That $7 million will certainly pack a punch! (However, at first glance of the coat-hanger track, I was like "uh oh Vekoma" . But then I realized...)
  14. Imagine yourself being 6' 2" and then tell me Haunt is scary. I personally think the scareactors don't take their job seriously enough... (They stopped trying to scare me once I was 5' 10" and in the 8th grade .) Moral of the story: they only go after short people!
  15. What's with all the hammering, Jack?

  16. No one is questioning whether B&M knows what they're doing, nor making a "fuss" over the loop. We merely are just actively observing.
  17. That is now what I'm considering. After all, I made plenty of money this summer. I think I can treat myself...
  18. This statement even being there has always boggled me: "The ride's design is unique among most suspended roller coasters as it features only one lift hill." (Yay an overall shorter ride, how exciting!)
  19. My common sense is telling I should join GOCC but the little devil standing on my right shoulder wants me to become a Club TPR member...
  20. Well gee, now I'm torn... I want to join Club TPR mainly because of the goodies, but at the same time I want to join Coasterbuzz because it looks simple like GOCC but has a forum, and I would like GOCC because it is cheaper and looks very simple and friendly. Decisions decisions...
  21. Most likely, mine was Top Cat's Taxi Jam when I was too little to remember.
  22. ^^Exactly, it's not REALLY important, but since there's nothing else discuss, what's the problem with bringing it up? We've got nothing better to do at the moment... Oh yeah and in no way are we "complaining" when we bring up the fact that the vertical loop on Banshee is much wider than most other B&M inverts, we're just discussing... In fact, I must say that I actually like that it's the way it is so far; it makes KI's long-awaited B&M invert just that much more unique and stand-out.
  23. The more I think of it, and after seeing all the cool things that sheikra_rocks got from them, the more I'm convinced that Club TPR is a club I would actually enjoy being a part of.
  24. Does Robb Alvey have a stance on B&M vs. Intamin?
