I am aware that it was at first called Scooby Doo but I was implying The Beastie when I said "former nominal glory", because I believe that it is the best name you could possibly have for the coaster.

I love Firehawk's loop, but just wish I could experience it more often.

Now, did we REALLY have to respond to one of my posts that happened nearly 2 months ago? One of a topic that is virtually dead and gone now? Trust me, my mindset has changed a lot since then... And besides, despite El Toro's downtime it had this year, it is still in my opinion hands down the greatest roller coaster ever built (but that does not mean that I don't understand why many parks are refusing to build Intamins these days)... I am awake but will certainly not be getting the heck out of Ohio anytime soon.

I despise shows like Family Guy and American Dad but I think South Park is awesome.

Kings Island does not have a ride called Delerium nor one that includes SkyFlier in it's name.

Paramount should've never changed the name in the first place, that was one of their biggest mistakes IMO. However Cedar Fair then names it Woodstock Express with the introduction of Planet Snoopy... Bottom line is that I don't care what the theme of surrounding area of the ride is, it should've always remained The Beastie. At least since it's obvious now with the announcments of Banshee and Bat that Ouimet seems to care about parks' invidual history of old rides and ride names, maybe, just MAYBE, we'll see WE return to it's former nominal glory.

The colors of Bat and Banshee will contrast like a dream!

Oops, should've bought some Flight Deck gear on Closing Day... But otherwise, oh my gosh this is going to look incredible! And I must say, with the epic teasing of Banshee that went on this year and now this, I've never seen Kings Island so in touch and interactive with it's everyday visitors before, enthusiast AND General Public. KI is in very good hands right now...

This season I've gotten more laps than any other year since I've first been going to KI as a little kid about 11 years ago... Coincidentally, it's also the first year since 2008 where I had not recorded a lap on Invertigo. And for that, I'm proud. Seriously...

I thought it was one heck of a season for many reasons... One for the fact that I finally began going to the meet-ups and have found out they are tons of fun. And two because I went to the park at least 16 times this year!

Honestly, I think most names for new rides always seem a little bit corny or uncreative the first time you hear or find out about it. It has to grow on you a little at first before you can imaginine yourself saying "Let's go ride (insert name here)" in the upcoming season(s)... ...But once it does, 98% of the time you end up liking that name.

But seriously, I want to know. What's with all the donkeys on TPR? Is it an inside joke?

Wow, after one glance at TPR it already seems to me like it's quite obnoxious and would get annoying to be a part of FAST... And what's with all the freakin' donkeys?!?!...

I think I'd be quite content with an El Loco. Record-breaker or not, it still looks like a wild, yet family-friendly experience...

Sure. It's not that bad in relative to most all the other coasters at KI, but... It IS bad in relative to the fact it's relatively new and currently the only B&M KI has. Even though it is very late into the season, (too late to do anything major to it), I still don't think they should ever let it turn into what it is now.

This first section of the ride resembles that of Gatekeeper's. Interesting...
