  1. I love Pepsi. Tropicana is the juice of life. And who DOESN'T like Mountain Dew?
  2. ^ I HOPE you're not being serious right now.
  3. A Giant version would be ordered, and it would be removed before even reaching its 10th anniversary.
  4. 1. Yes, occasionally. Tornado @ Stricker's Grove for example has a certain number of seatbelts on its train that don't even match the style of the others. Some are like the old car seatbelts, while the others are the "levered" style seatbelts. 3. By several prototypical failures? Then yes, a little, unfortunately.
  5. I don't really need to ask for many presents from my parents anymore now that I've been working for the past two summers. Anything that I "want" I either already have or could easily pay for with my own money.
  6. What's with all that hammering, Jack?

  7. Sigh. I chuckle at the fact that whenever this thread goes astray with tired jokes and puns, no one seems to care... Yet once we finally strike a meaningful and constructive conversation about the matter at hand, it is quickly stiflled by bitter sarcasm and accusing people like devarious of being "know-it-alls" or assuming that they know nothing of what they are talking about (which couldn't be further from the truth).
  8. I'm confused. What exactly could that bracket be for and how does it imply that Banshee will get a trim brake?
  9. They need to somehow find a way to make the color of the sign match the ride, as well as paint the "tiara" (or fools'-Intamin track as I like to call it) that holds it. However, I'm not so sure the color of sign itself could be corrected that easily with just some paint slapped on to it. They'd might have to do something different... (Photos of courteousy of ME)
  10. Who built SOB do you say? I just read it on Roller Coaster Data Base There is a difference between a company "building" a ride and a company "designing" the ride... If I'm not mistaken, RCCA designed Son of Beast and was originally supposed to be the one to physically construct it, but Paramount promptly fired them after design. Paramount then took the job upon themselves to "build" it but did not follow through with many of the features of RCCA's design during construction (and other corners were cut as well). Did I get it right Terpy?
  11. Heck, I'd just be happy if we got a nice GCI sometime in the near future... A twister like Gold Striker would certainly contrast greatly with The Racer's out and back layout as well as The Beast's terrain layout.
  12. A trading post. (As in "DB Trading Post")
  13. Maybe if Cedar Fair could actually maintain their B&M's better then I wouldn't mind as much having KI turning into a "B&M jungle". But to be honest, somewhere down the road, I think Kings Island has got to get a new coaster someday that's NOT a B&M. However, it doesn't necessarily have to be an Intamin either (although that's what I would prefer). There are MANY other manufacturers/designers out there where I would be happy of them selling one of their finest attractions to KI. (Premier, Chance, Mack, RMC etc...)
  14. Sure. If that's what you think.
  15. Possible Bucket List for next summer: - Cedar Point - Coney Island (NY) - Coney Island (OH) - Kings Dominion - Kentucky Kingdom - Hersheypark - Six Flags America - Six Flags Great Adventure (El Toro didn't fail me in the summer of '11 and I hope it does not fail me next summer) - Six Flags New England - Stricker's Grove *The fact of me going to Kings Island should be implied Possible Events: - Banshee Media Day @ KI - BeastBuzz @ KI - Coastermania @ CP - And any other events I get invited to via GOCC or ClubTPR QUESTIONS: How reliable is Bizarro @ SFNE? S:RoS? Skyrush?
  16. Please do not expand the railroad. The wait for the train to come back is long enough.
  17. I would pay a considerable sum of money just to be able to go back there and see up close all those historical gems...
  18. ^Was there not a roller coaster just announced to be 525 ft tall and over 8,000 ft long? (But yes, I do see what you mean otherwise...)
  19. If you look closely, I think you can see the old Patrick Star prop that used to stand outside the "Nickelodeon Slime Zone" attraction (now Snoopy's Splash Dance).
  20. I want to see some crazy, relentless, and snappable flying scooters! Oh wait, I can. But only if I go to Stricker's.
  21. Ah. A kinder, simpler, and gentler time... I assume.
  22. Pilgrim's Plunge didn't require me to wear a shirt and shoes to ride when I was at HW last year...
  23. Is "polar" the new term coined to classify a complete-circuit roller coaster between 500 and 599 feet? (Hyper<Giga<Strata<Polar?)
