What's the difference between a seasonal park and a regular park?
-
I can answer the first question but not the second. I believe you can upgrade your pass for $59.99. A two day admission costs $75.99 so I suggest you upgrade your pass rather than buying a ticket.

We've actually decided that instead of going on a Monday and Tuesday we might go on a Sunday and Monday. Does anybody know how crowded it could be on a Sunday?
-
Could anybody tell me which coasters have on-ride photo cameras? Just Curious...
-
Closed? It's much more than closed.... Well yeah I know that, they're not gonna even have the ride anymore. They're relocating it to Knott's Berry Farm. I knew that... Actually, Demon Drop- though rumored to make its way to KBF (and later Michigan's Adventure)- was sent to Dorney Park, where it is currently awaiting completion of testing. Oh..... I need get my facts straight more often . Anyway, why did Cedar Fair relocate Demon Drop?

Was this a weekday or weekend day?

I've never been to CP but I'm going this July. I'll be sure to vote my favorite CP coaster when I get back.

Ya i will definitely make sure to ride Mean Streak. I don't care what other people say...

Thanks! This advice will be VERY helpful. Yeah I was actually looking forward to ride Demon Drop until I first heard it was closed. I will still have lots of fun. When I get back I will be sure to post a full TR with ratings out of 10 points on all the rides I got to ride. About Mantis on the "Can Rides", that ride is actually gonna be on my "Must Ride" list only because I've never been on a Stand-Up coaster before and it sounds like very unique ride experience. That's just my opinion. Thanks again for the Trip Advice!

I know but it's still added on to Cedar Point.
-
No I'm not a big waterpark person and usually waterparks added on to amusement parks aren't worth it. I'd much rather get as much rides as I can on MF,TTD, and Maverick. So I guess my decision on the waterpark would be a NO...
-
One more question, is it worth it to go to Soak City or is it nothing special?
-
OOOOOHHHH believe me, I will! With how crowded the park gets later in the day, Trust me, I will... I will...
-
Well actually the we are going to stay in one of the Hotel Properties so we do get in the ERT, whatever that is. What is the ERT?
-
Thanks! So it's gonna be kind of crowded but that's okay. I am gonna go to the park for two days so it will still be really fun. When I get back I will have ratings for every ride there and post it in a "Top 10 Rides" list when I get back from my trip...

I am going on my first ever Cedar Point this summer. My family and I are planning to visit the park for two days, Monday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 13. Could anybody verify how crowded Cedar Point could be on a Monday and Tuesday in July?

I think you were nervous because SkyHawk has lap bars instead of OTSR's I know what you what you mean. When ever I look at offride pov's of SkyHawk it just looks like everyones gonna fall out...

I was waiting to get on one the trains on Diamondback and I noticed something in the little room where the employee operates the ride. There was a sign that said "Behometh vs Diamondback ridership challenge" and there was a list of of some numbers on the sign. Has anyone else noticed this?

KENTUCKY KINGDOM CLOSED
BeastForever replied to PKIDelirium's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
It's kind of sad to see Kentucky Kingdom close. It was the only Six Flags park that was an hour and a half away. To think I was going to visit last year but my family never had the time to... -
Have you been to KI this season yet? They actually run the camera now so you actually get to see your picture. I gotta give CF credit for that...
-
I guess I was wrong! Anyone else realize that KI is known for having the first kind of this ride... and the first kind of that ride ... and so on. But if we have the first kind of a ride we have a prototype. And then this prototype ride will screw up itself a year or two later. There will be a major problem with the ride and the next park that builds this kind of ride will refrain from doing from what the prototype was.See: The Bat, TR:TR, Anyone else know what I mean? Oh yeah and please don't go through every word of my post and point how I might be wrong because I'm really not in the mood. As I write this post I am really tired and about to fall asleep... YAWN!

Paramount had to remove King Cobra because the manufacturer TOGO, went bankrupt so they it was then hard to find replacement parts.
-
Yeah I noticed that sign too on the timberwolf fence waiting in line fo Drop Zone. I couldn't read it all because The line was moving up. But I did read something about a clue.
-
I voted: Coasta': The Beast Flat:DROP ZONE!!! Water ride: RFYLCB( It's very enjoyable to travel back into the cool shaded woods and getting a little bit wet instead of getting so drenched you regret getting on the ride...)
