Me too. 5 years ago I was terrified of big coasters. You couldn't pay me 100 bucks to ride a looping ride. I only rode coasters like AE, The Beastie, Top Gun, and Italian job.
This a poll discussing The Racer...
In my opinion I like the Red Racer because it's smoother than the Blue Racer and I like how start out on the Red Racer. You go right next to the midway...
Does anybody think that The Beach Waterpark will ever get a new waterslide in 2011 or 2012? I really like that waterpark but I don't even remember them getting anything new and I've been going for probably 5 years since I was 8
They don't need to put a new record-breaking waterslide where it has a vertical loop or something absolutely crazy. Just a new okay waterslide. It would be nice to get a water coaster
I don't really care that BB is horrible. On hot summer days of riding rides I just go there to cool off for an hour or two. But I would like a new waterslide there...
When I rode The Beast for the first time when I was 7 in 04' I remembered the preshow. In the preshow there would be a flaming monster that was supposedly the "Beast" flying around the track. My older brother was teasing me by saying that that was how fast the ride goes because I was actually kind of scared to go on it at first. And no, I didn't believe my brother about how fast the ride goes...
It's hilarious in the pre-show where they access the "Hangar Camera" and it shows the queue line and then nobody is in it. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about?
Anyway, if wikipedia is correct about this(which it probably isn't) then I would love to see Flight Deck having floorless trains. It would signifcantly increase the ride experience.
The only way that FD would get Vekoma trains is if KI bought them from a park with a defunct Vekoma coaster because Vekoma has been bankrupt for 9 years...
correct me if I'm wrong.
Yeah, it's so sad that one of the best rides in amusement history became one of the worst rides in amusement history. It goes a little like this...
one of the best rides in amusement history + Cedar Fair =
one of the worst rides in amusement history
...lol
Do you even know why they changed the ride cycle? I don't think you do... The ride was tearing itself apart. Before you comment about Cedar Fair please read this
It's getting annoying with all the Cedar Fair jokes.
I wasn't talking about the ride cycle at all.
I did the math it's around 14 million
So about 14 million huh? If i can recall that's about how much it will cost to build a brand spanking new flat with money left over to redo Crypt!
14 million to renovate SOB plus 30 million it has cost the park so far would add up to 44 million dollars they have spent on just one ride! That's more money than what they used to expand Action Zone in 1999!
