It really does disappoint me that we aren't getting anything next year. Almost every other park (not just Cedar Fair) is getting a new major attraction next year. But the only thing we will get is probably a new show.
-
I don't even see that.
-
Where does it say that? Wrong link?

Oh my gosh people. I was just showing what a path would be like if it was right there. I'm not saying it's a good idea.

Knott's Expansion

Who would look at the website daily? My point is, I'm surprised someone caught it. -
Knott's Expansion

You guys are so observant. Who was it that found the "Coaster Rider" trademark? -
My grandparents love living behind the park. They like watching the fireworks. Just not the noise of the roller coasters! I would get annoyed too
-
Do you realize how long this path would be?? Exactly! You'd be able to get to X-base in the same amount of time by going around through Coney Mall. Why anyone would think this is a good idea is beyond me. In my eyes it's not a "path", but a new area. New rides, shops, restrooms, etc.

Maybe....?

I never understood why people complain about hearing rides at nearby amusement parks. Generally the theme park was there first (because they usually build in rural areas that later become developed.) So why would people buy a home near a theme park and get mad when you can hear it? I would understand if you lived there before it was built, but hardly that is the case. That's what my mom always tells her parents. "Why complain - you picked this place to live!" and the funny thing is, they live in very back of the neighborhood. But, really, it's actually not that loud. Just some cranky elderly people don't like it.
-
Unfortunately you can't live in it until you're 55 years old. During the winter you can see all the rides through the trees but during the summer you can't. You can also hear The Beast's roar in the woods. It's pretty cool.
-
If they expanded to the river I know my grandparents would be mad, as they live in the very back of the subdivision you see pictured to the right of the river. You can already hear the rides well enough.
-
I know I'm ready! I'm really sad that the season is over so I'd love to get excited for 2013! The only thing that disappoints me is it looks like we won't be getting any major new attractions next year. :/
-
The third one wasn't a POV, was it? isn't it just a camera that's always on the ride?
-
Good luck getting it to work. Also good luck when the ride is over. Actually, let's hope it breaks down at the top.
-
Hm...I highly doubt there is a way out in the middle of the cobra roll. You can see it on the ride a little bit, and all I see is track - no steps. Also, how could it valley during that point of the ride? It's still going near full speed...if it valleyed near the end close to the corkscrew I can understand that.

New Cedar Fair Trademark

What kind of name is Coast Rider? In my opinion, it sounds horrible. -
^Everyone takes their clothes off and runs?

OFFICIAL: Cedar Fair Pairs with Coke

Doesn't matter to me. I don't drink soda. -
I would just hide in one of the stores.

Yes and yes. First yes: This year at Kings Island, in my two visits, has been horrendous. The amount of people is equivalent to cars in rush hour. Lines are crazy long - for both mazes and rides. I haven't been able to ride The Beast this Halloween because the line has stretched all the way to Madame Fatale's line. Diamondback has also had a line stretching out of the entrance, as has Adventure Express (although that's not a long wait), Vortex, and many others. It's almost unenjoyable. Second yes: The crowds are the reason it should be an up charge. My only concern with this is, I think people would still pay to get in. It's just crazy that a 364-acre park with tens of rides and mazes still doesn't control the crowds at all.

^Yeah, it was Barbara Streisand - but with "Ed Alonzo" replacing the "Babara Streisand".

Exactly..that reminds me of a lot of people I know that only like the songs that are on mainstream. They won't ever, ever, check out other songs. I even showed my friend the song "Some Nights" by Fun. back in February (when they weren't popular) and she hated it. Now that it's mainstream, she likes the song. Ugh. (That sounded so hipster. I hate that about me, )

I'm pretty sure that came from the same person who said this, about a month ago:

I'll admit I like Party Rock Anthem but Sexy and I Know It is possible the dumbest song I've heard. Why is it popular again?
