Most of the stuff posted on facebook is ignorant anyway. Then again it could be because I'm just seeing my friends posts lol.

I am not afraid of heights but when it kicked out and started spinning with the wind blowing I started to panic. It has an amazing view as you said and I will ride it again even though it almost gave me a stroke. Having your 10 year old cousin call you a chicken because she wasn't one bit scared was a bit of a blow to the ego also LOL.

I will be there Saturday and will be sure to check this out. Thanks for the info RaptorGuy!

Looks like the whole family had a blast. Your daughter is absolutely adorable! Thanks for sharing the pictures!

Sounds like you had a great trip! I need to start experiencing some new parks it sounds like . Thanks for sharing!!

Invertigo was the first coaster I had the pleasure of riding after I got over my fear of roller coasters so it holds a special place in my heart. Thanks for posting this video!!

This works for me as well. I have yet to have any of my belongings go missing from a bin yet.

Lightning strike and transformer fire at Kings Island

Hopefully not much damage occurred. The beginning of the video commentary reminded me of the double rainbow video lol. -
Very nice report! Can't wait to see the pictures.

We've never been hounded. They usually ask once, we decline and move on. Never once have we been asked more than once or been pressured into getting a picture taken so maybe we just go on good days
-
They were actually cooking ribs outside this past sunday in Rivertown and it surprised the heck out of me. It was the first time I've seen that in the past two years I've started coming to the park again.

The Howl-o-Fest area really wasn't that bad even though it did looked packed from a far. I think we waited maybe 10 mintues at the most for the hayride.
-
I said that today if you're going to strictly ride rides sundays in october are a great day to go. I think the longest we waited for any ride was 20 minutes for Flight of Fear.

Wow we had a great time today at the park. Kudos to Kings Island for the halloween set up they have for kids. My girlfriends niece had an amazing time and she had a smile on her face the whole time especially when a bunch of kids kept saying 'there is snow white" LOL. I got in some coasters with very little wait time and overall it was just a fantastic day and once again Kings Island did an amazing job on Howl-O-Fest!

^ That's what I was thinking, it says on the USO website that it's closed for annual maintenance and I don't know if that necessarily makes in not a reliable ride.

Should KI and Cedar Fair Discontinue Halloween Haunt?
Bonks replied to RaptorGuy's topic in Kings Island
^ I agree 100%. I don't agree with everyone's opinion on here but that doesn't mean they don't have the right to voice said opinion without someone jumping all over them about it. The world would be a very boring place if we all thought and believed the same things. -
It's probably a dream but I'd love a Maurer Söhne coaster with a non inverting loop similar to Hollywood Rip Ride and Rockit at USO. I've never ridden it but it looks like a fun coaster.

When I go to the park me and my girlfriend don't usually eat bc honestly most of the food doesn't look very appetizing. Panda Express looks decent but they're kinda steep on prices. We were in Festhaus in mid August on a saturday and the table we sat at during the storm while everything was shut down was a mess and many employees walked right by it and didn't even come over to clean it up. We usually just get a water and share a funnel cake and that holds us off for the day until we leave. If they added a nice sit down restaurant with a different atmosphere than the other food areas of the park I'd be more inclined to start spending more money on food at the park though.

I have no problem with it but I'm 26 so I'm not to that age where I find certain stuff offensive yet. I agree they probably shouldn't have included the word in the video. Like Terpy said though, CF deems things this time of year such as advertising bleeding midgets as ok so this shouldn't come as a surprise.
-
I noticed that too and thought it was a tad inappropriate for a family-oriented park (Haunt time of the year or not) They're advertising bleeding midgets so I don't really think the word "frickin" is that big of a deal

Well there is at least two of us in the wanting to impress our girlfriends club lol.

You know what would be amazing - and I get that it would never work or ever happen, but I wish they could enclose the lower level of the Eiffell Tower, with floor to ceiling windows, and make it into an upscale dining experience. That would be a dream come true. And while I'm dreaming, make it into a revolving platform so it circles around the park throughout dinner. Again, this would never ever happen but wouldn't that be cool?? I for one love that idea even though as you said it would never happen. One of my favorite things to do at the park is to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower at night when the entire park is lit up. Add a nice dinner experience to that and they would get so much money out of me and my girlfriend every time we come to the park lol.

I couldn't agree more! Up until two years ago I was scared to death of coasters. My gf took me to Kings Island and I told her I would ride rides with her knowing I had no intentions of actually doing it. We get there and the first thing she wanted to go on was Invertigo. I was absolutely scared to death in line but as the say the rest is history. After riding that I wasn't scared to ride anything else in the park and now I can't wait to go back every summer.

I edited the first post of the thread, just click "Show" at bottom of my post to read what it is. Thank you very much Tombraider, I wish I could see what it looks like at night.
