This past Saturday was crazy. The Beast was using all of it's Que lines. Vortex even had about a 45 minute wait. Racer had a line going all the way back to the entrance. The Haunts, forget about it, they had lines anywhere from 1 - 2 hours. No thanks.

Actually those trains have not been on The Beast since it opened. The Beast opened with 4 row cars, and now they have 3 row cars. However Racer has had the same trains since 1972.

I was wondering what was going to happen on the 29th of September. The park was open from 7pm till 1am, and then reopened at 10am again. So the rides were only down for a bit before Maintenance came back and started them back up.

Yes your right. During the 20th Anniversary Special when Jason was standing in front of The Beast sign, you could still see the sign that read something like this, "It may be necessary to close some ride lines prior to the park closing hour" I honestly don't remember what the sign said. It may have has something to do with popularity. But remember back in the day, it was very common for The Beast line to go all the way back to the Restrooms in Rivertown.

I would be surprised if no major renaming happens for the 2008 season. Only time will tell, but lets enjoy the rest of what the 2007 season has to offer before we guess what 2008 may or may not bring.

Honestly in my opinion even if they do removing the theming of the ride, it could still be pretty good, if well done. All they need to do is get a new program, and maybe actually use the water effects. Maybe add some cool lights or strobes to the ride.

Besides they were a classic ride, and a ride that was moved to Kings Island from Coney Island. They had an Ohio History, they shouldn't have been removed.

That's not a discount, you can buy tickets at the same price for all day Saturday or Sunday admission online for 24.95. The only way it is a savings would work for you would be if you didn't buy your tickets in advance or over the phone.

That would be cool, to get texts about news from KI, or KIC. Especially for us who have to work, and don't have access to KIC while at work.

It also makes you wonder well they even kept the park open that extra hour? If the haunts are less intense after 12am what is the point? Other then maybe catching some rides after 12am.

Top Gun closes at 6? I thought it was supposed to be a ride open for HH? Did they change that for some reason? Are they using the normal Top Gun que again?
