  1. I'm guessing he's referring to this one just because it's the closest tunnel to the construction, near to the old TA construction area (where flag markers have recently appeared), and has trees by it in this old photo. EDIT: Upstop beat me to it. But hey, I finally guessed something right!
  2. Alright Prophet, what are we getting for 2014? I will seriously give you 20 bucks if you call this one.
  3. So... To get back on topic here's a question. Can we officially scrap the idea of a dive coaster just because the dive hints were aimed at the "Dive-in movies"? What do you think?
  4. What do you do if you don't want to embed it?
  5. Had a friend whose dad got on Tomb Raider and didn't fit so a ride op came over and pushed down on the restraint as hard as he could until it clicked. Then he walked away and started the ride. Unfortunately he rode through the whole ride unable to breathe... (good thing he could hold his breath for a long time)
  6. I just thought of something that sounds great but would probably be a nightmare to construct in reality. Wait for it... Racing Giga coasters. Thought of this while on RCT3 this afternoon and built it. It would definitely be cool for the park and almost sounds possible because Could be a tribute towards The Racer Would be first of its kind would explain the early construction there's definitely room for it But the reality is that one giga coaster is expensive enough already and two would be crazy expensive and take a lot to build too. Still, just sayin' it'd be pretty sweet. Just another crazy idea hatched by yours truely, DBI
  7. Wow I always thought it was. Good thing I asked then. When did the KI Inn open? EDIT: Off-Topic my bad
  8. The Kings Island Inn is owned by the park right?
  9. DBI's New Ride 2014 Prediction: "Son of Der Spinning Keggers"
  10. Just curious? How is Vortex sinking? It seems like it's on solid ground? Same way Magnum has been sinking for years. The ground is eroding. Just to clarify, The Vortex is not sinking. But it tends to be a very popular rumor because of how the ground below the ride is lower than the pathways I guess. Sometimes sarcasm is hard to pick up online...
  11. Something tells me that you guys are gonna be kinda P.O.'d if this thing turns out not to be a roller coaster. Not sure why i think that but maybe its the fact that the debate in this topic hasn't been about whether or not it will be one since about page 1.
  12. After a little bit of research I have discovered that the worlds tallest ferris wheel is currently the "Singapore Flyer" in (you'll never guess) Singapore! Here's what she looks like: She stands at 541 feet (holy crap) tall and cost 180 million US dollars to build. Here's a link to the wheel's website: http://www.singaporeflyer.com/ ...And here's a pic of the world's smallest ferris wheel: thought you might enjoy this one Pretty cool stuff! DBI
  13. I would take Expedition Everest and put it in a new section of the park that they could call "Adventure Village"! Pretty original huh.
  14. Dang I was just at the park and didn't even look over there.. Lots of Dirt pushing! I will post some information and some pictures later! Pics or it didn't happen
  15. Is it at all possible to have a 300+ foot Raging Bull at KI?
  16. Today at the park, the guy running flight deck kept calling it the tallest, fastest "jet coaster"... Thats news to me considering I'm not sure theres such a thing as a "jet coaster" and also flight deck has a twin at CW so i don't think its the tallest or fastest.
  17. Mr. Ouimet never said we couldn't get a hybrid of a dive and wingrider
  18. Or someone might steel them? no pun intended? or should i say that was punintended?
  19. Is there really that much difference between ^this, and this: Because I don't see much difference in the supports at all. (photo courtesy of www.flickriver.com)
  20. ^CoasterBob always has good videos. Is he on this site?
  21. Second day in the park in a row, wow my feet are sore. Took some more pics of the construction site. Seems to be more work going on at the back of AE. Unfortunately there isn't any good way to take pictures of that without being illegal. enjoy, DBI
  22. Alright! As promised to GingerKid, here are my pics of the construction I took today at the park. Please Enjoy the View! DBI
  23. Going in like 5 mins i'll take some good pics while im there for ya!
  24. Why? What's so bad about coaster enthusiasts speculating on a new ride and getting excited about it? Yeah maybe are thoughts go off on tangents every so often buts it's all in fun. We enjoy the thought of what's going on here and want to try to put the clues together. I think maybe he was just making a joke about how we come up with some crazy ideas
  25. @KingsIslandPR: I'm about to dive in on putting together the information on something our guests are going to really enjoy. I have a feeling Mr. Helbig really enjoys his job...
