The current overview of the park seen on Google Maps was taken on July 1st, 2010.

I understand it was a loved attraction but things have to go to make room for other things. I am glad they are getting a new water slide to Soak City. That placed needed some new life put into it.

All parks have a few year plan of how the park will grow, so I hope its just a small step into a new coasters future.

I could see them putting in some inversions like like they did with SOB to make it different I was dreaming about it but sadly I agree with flightoffear1996 it's pretty much the same ride. I have always thought when I rode other coasters similar to this that when I hit the breaks I feel dissatisfied. No doubt it's going to be a great ride but coaster variety... Don't think people will know its two different rides. You know the people that don't care about how high it is or what its called, when they go home they will be saying "which one was it they were a lot alike".

Leviathan is a sea monster so it will be cool to see the theme around it.

Yeah... I am saying it as La-van-than I don't know if it's correct but that's how I am pronouncing it until tomorrow.

It is a great ride but I wouldn't mind to see it go.

People are saying flats but what kind? I would like to see a family ride. Boat ride, coaster, new 3D movie or a ferris wheel.

I know this topic is pretty much dead but I want to keep people posted on Carowinds. Here is a article interviewing Matt Ouimet about the future of Carowinds. It is interesting to hear his ideas and how he views the park.

I was on TPR (I know) and they were saying the coaster will go into the parking lot but this was from a "good source" so you never know the whole truth until the announcement is made. Personally I do not see them doing a giga because that is too similar to their other B&M. I see them doing a giga with a new style train, not traditional sit down.

WOW! That is really exciting I wish we had something to be excited about... It looks like it is going to be a really cool coaster whatever it may be.

This year defiantly meaning something about Halloween Haunt. That is my guess.

I do like that they are offering a cheaper price if you buy more. The cheapest being $25 if you buy six.

They might not be giving hints because it may not be worthy of hints. I hope its worthy.

YAY! I think it makes the park look very clean and family friendly.

The invitation for Carowinds 2012 announcement can be seen here. The flight theme is being used very heavily. I don't think they are getting a WindSeeker now I think its just a flat such as a GF or a swing ride.
