Interesting! I always have thought KI needs a ride similar to Maverick, we don't have a fast paced tight turning ride... we need one!

I think this would be a fun topic to talk about what rides should be replaced to make new attractions. -I would replace Viking Fury with a B&M inverted coaster. -The area behind Surf Dog would be a good place for a family coaster, taking out the rides in its way or moving them. -To me Congo Falls doesn't fit in with the other high thrill rides around it so removing that and putting a Skyhawk like at CP.

Never but Its a new style of trains compared to the TOGO trains used on KC. Oh, you are comparing two different ride manufacturers in TOGO's 1984 KC trains to B & M's 1996 Mantis trains and simply called them new due to the different design. Yes, I guess I should of worded it better.

I do see them doing something with SOB in the future but not taking it out of the park. The KI skyline would look so sad and empty =(

WHY!? I would not get on an old style stand-up like Shockwave. The trains look so uncomfortable. The new trains on Mantis at CP is my type of comport haha

B&M coaster load really quick and the lines move at a pretty good pace so I never go for single rides. Does DB ops tell you what row to go to or do you get to pick because every time I go it depends on the op what they allow you to do.

ZERO! I don't think I am going to ride it for a few seasons because the line is always so long and I really do not feel the need to ride it... a really tall swing ride, boring!

I remember at CP on some rides they would do trivia about the rides... It was pretty interesting.

Don't get me wrong I love The Beast but why is it so high on favorite lists... what is so good about it. Its fun but not OMG lets go on it again.

That is regarding the "August" halloween Announcement, not a new attraction for the park......these topic boards are different. the same question was asked, what do you speculated could be announced, nowhere was it confirmed that this "august" announcement, that was leaked by a news channel, was going to be about Halloween Haunt. just because the park has said that there will be an announcement in august about Halloween Haunt doesn't mean that it's the only thing that's going to be announced in august. Personally I don't think its the same thing because to me "fall" is not August. It's Sep-Nov. ...and personally i think they are the same, the time periods are close together and you asked the same question that was at the start of the other thread. it gets confusing when there are two threads going on with the same question, especially when the only difference is the month it's taking place. Hmm... I get your point.

Yes, defiantly and wasn't he involved with Disney or something in the past? I think CF is heading into the right direction.

I found this article that interviewed the future CEO of CF and he said KI will announce new additions in the fall for its 40th anniversary! When do you think the park will start hinting around?

I have never been to any other CF parks besides KI, CP, and Carowinds. I must say... we are very thankful most other CF parks charge higher admission while they have fewer rides. Maybe if they lower the price a little more people would go!

Invertigo at California Great America is getting moved to another CF park and I want to know which one... The site says its being moved but doesn't say where. Not KI... DUH. Not Carowinds because they have that type of ride. Not CP because why would they want a used coaster... lame. WHERE!?

I don't see them fixing up a ride that doesn't have high traffic.

As a child my sister and I would ride AE over and over because no one was ever in line but a few times we asked if we could get in an empty seat because people were in line for the seat we were in... some said it was ok but most of the operators always said "can you walk around again" haha hated when they told us that.

Vortex was always "that ride" that my family would go on but I would be too scared. Now I love it! Vortex > Mantis
